I was completely surprised that they did this magnificent classic! The “Ultra” album is marvelous and “It’s No Good” is among my favorite songs from this album. The live rendition of this was incredible and I have to say, I loved the drumming on this. I know the studio version is done on drum machines but the drummer here did a fantastic job incorporating a more ‘love’ rhythm to this already great classic. I was dancing and was completely fried afterwards (the concert overall).
Conversely, I can’t help but notice Dave struggling with hitting some of the notes on the song. I can accept that singers can struggle sometimes with hitting the notes especially with age but it was obvious Gahan was struggling. Idk if some health issues may be affecting him but I could easily hear him struggling with hitting the right notes. Please Dave, get help with your vocal cords. We love you and wish you the best but either get help with taking care of your vocals or dial down on the spinning and dancing which may be making you far more tired than usual and affecting your singing abilities. I can tolerate some off key singing but here, it was noticeable even for me.
That said, this was still an incredible show and this song was still a blast to hear live, even with Dave’s singing challenges. Thank you for sharing this. I forgive Dave’s vocal issues here but hope he takes notice and does something before his singing abilities deteriorate further.

He's gotten older. Also, his vocals on Ultra were abnormally smooth, which leads me to believe that Tim Simenon & his team did a lot of post production on his vox recordings.
