    Why do we need the music in the background? It's not necessary and distracts from the real music which is the sound of steam locos.

      They went to the Sittingbourne and Kemsley Railway, same gauge 2' 6" or 762mm. From memory they went in 1978

    The sound quality is quite appalling.

      Please remember that the film is an amateur made film from 1967 and professional film cameras and recording editing equipment would not be available to the film maker(s) due to cost. My guess is this film and soundtrack were made on 8mm equipment and film stock with its very limited reproduction qualities.
      Just be thankful that this material even exists.
