Hi BJTaylor. So glad you did a video on this bag. I just picked up mine yesterday in the DE print. It is a beautiful bag! I really love the look of it and I am really hoping that it holds up. I do already see that wrinkling may occur in the trim where the clasps are stiched in but we'll see! The quality is a bit leaner than usual but at the same time, I was really looking for a casual bag that was pretty and worry free and this checks both of those boxes. I do love the mono and realized as you were modeling the bags that the mono looks more casual and the Azur looks really classy on you. It made me appreciate the changes they made because it looks more classy, cool. Not so casual and slouchy. I love that is has just enough slouch without looking sloppy. I have been to Louis Vuitton in Montreal 2 days ago to buy a WV vachetta strap for my NM pochette and asked to see the new model Delightful in azur and the Siracusa model which i almost bought! ..i would recommend you that bag if you like the azur print! I was surprised with the Siracusa's quality :)
Your videos are always so informative and thorough. I'd been considering either the Delightful DA or new Calvi, but YT reviews have convinced me to come up with a new wishlist. Such a shame the canvas is so thin!

Thanks for this review. I tried the PM on in January and didn't like it. Tried the MM on today and it was a comfortable fit. I was hoping LV would give me a credit today for the Speedy I had for a month that was peeling on the handles but they exchanged it. No more Made in France. I would have gotten this one. This review helped me to see other things about the Delightful that are negatives To me I didn't see. So good to see you doing reviews again.
Another great reveal BJ. Thank you. I like that they added the charm of the Artsy. I was thinking of buying the Artsy in Azur but reconsidered as I noticed the handle being so stiff hurts my shoulder in Summer. This one would be comfortable though.

Love your reviews...simply the best. I bought a Neverfull in Damier Azur in March...I was shocked at the thinness of the canvas compared to just a couple of years ago. Prices up and quality down...not sure how long I will continue to support Louis Vuitton. Makes me sad, my favorite for many, many years.

You know I've never joined the bandwagon on complaining about pricing going up but quality going down, just saw price increases as a fact and I always thought the items I was buying were of substantial quality nothing to complain about, but this in depth review really made me see the light. They really are cutting costs I was shocked to see how thin that canvas is on the nm. And that thin stitching on the handles, completely seems like they want our items to not last and break so we buy more often... Inspired me to compare my galliera from a few years ago to my neverfull I just bought a few days ago and although its apples to pears since they are two different bags I see big time quality difference. How disappointing :(

Love this review. This is such a cute bag. The pink must look different than does in real life. In pictures it looks pretty. I have the old Delightful and love it. I just wish the old one came with the bag charm. It is such a same they can't fix the problems with DE. My Neverfull DE from 2011 has cracking issues on the trim. I hate to take it in only to have it crack some more. I hope you enjoy your new bag!

Thanks for the heads up on the DE Delightful. I preordered mine and haven't picked it up yet. My SA says that she checked all the arrivals and picked the best one that was MIF. She said that the cracking issue is already being reported in the last few days, seems to be the MIU bags, but that if it happens, LV will fix the bag for no charge. I'd rather not go through the trouble of a repair, so we'll see. But I did make sure I had a MIF bag.

Loved the reveal. Interesting about the change in the rings on the hardware. Wonder why LV did that? I'd be concerned about that also with that stitching. I know someone else who bought the DE and had issues with wrinkling. She returned it and got the Azure.

I love your reviews. I fully agree with your thoughts on this change to the bag. I have a number of LV pieces that I bought over the last few years but I am becoming increasingly concerned about indicators that the brand is trying to cut corners on quality. . It is disappointing to think Vuitton may be trying to use lower quality products while they keep increasing prices so much. I live in Canada where we just faced a significant price increase! Still love the bags I have though!!!

Thanks for doing the comparison, it was definitely helpful. But I must say it is almost better to purchase a preloved delightful in the older model. It really surprised me when your hand showed through the bag. The thread would concern me too. With the price tag on those bags. You would think they would not skim on the quality, just my opinion of course. I just purchased the DE totally MM and hopefully I won't have the problem with cracking....TFS

I have a number of LV pieces that I bought over the last few years but I am becoming increasingly concerned about indicators that the brand is trying to cut corners on quality. . It is disappointing to think Vuitton may be trying to use lower quality products while they keep increasing prices so much. I live in Canada where we just faced a significant price increase! Still love the bags I have though!!!

Thanks for doing the comparison, it was definitely helpful. But I must say it is almost better to purchase a preloved delightful in the older model. It really surprised me when your hand showed through the bag. The thread would concern me too. With the price tag on those bags. You would think they would not skim on the quality, just my opinion of course. I just purchased the DE totally MM and hopefully I won't have the problem with cracking....TFS

I totally agree with you regarding the pink. I just don't understand why they would choose such a shade. I really like the Artsy charm that they added to it though.
