I truly forgot just how fuckin' awesome this album is until now. An utter masterpiece. IMO the very best Black Metal album ever compiled. This was the very first Black Metal I ever listened to, and from this album onwards I started exploring other Black Metal bands. I credit Satyricon with introducing me to the finest genre of music on this planet. Such a relentless and merciless album- fuckin' awesome- this album is the Shock and Awe of Black Metal.

Even if I may like other types of Metal or of music in general, once I discovered Black Metal that was it, there's nothing like this genre for me, this is the kind of music that was created for me. And this song is pretty much Perfection. Unrelenting and devastating.

In last couple of days i listend about 20 times for this album, and this is my favorite song. Such a great melody.
I can't name any other bm band changing riffs and drum rhythm like that. Perfect album
