    Excellent video. Thanks Flight Brothers.

      Thanks! We felt silly once we realized we were making 50x the profit in a day using commodities over the available jobs. We've used the profits to start buying 1 of nearly every aircraft we can think of for the VA. Speaking of which, we've missed seeing you there. Did you start your own or try a different one?

      @@FlightBrothersFT I've always had an VA but only used it to transfer cash between the different sims to bump up cash in the different versions as needed by the company. LOL

      Can I transfer money to MFS from my XP version? I just bought AH2 for MFS also about 3 days ago.

    How do you actually buy the commodity???? there is no button or anything to indicate how to actually purchase stuff

    • @FlightBrothersFT

      Under the Cargo Jobs and Pax routes tab, select Overview Map, then on the left vertical column Commodity Stocks. Not all commodities are available at all airports, so you have to pick and choose based on where you want to fly for the “biggest bang for the buck”! Hope this helps. -Lee

    Can you use the aircraft in your FSX hanger. Or do you have to use the aircraft that's included in AH2?

      We own it for XP11 and Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020 release). The aircraft are imported from the game through the aircraft management tab, then are purchased there. I haven’t had any issues with XP aircraft so far, but have ran into a few freeware install issues with MFS. No issues using default aircraft

    Are you/Will you be able to sell tier 2/3 commodities? What’s the point of having factories that manufacture things like avionics if there’s no where to sell them

    • @FlightBrothersFT
      @FlightBrothersFT  2 года назад +1

      That’s a good question. I have aviation watches made, and I haven’t tried to sell them. Perhaps I’ll try and see if they can be sold. TBH that is an area that I have not truly explored. When I try this experiment, I’ll be sure to comment back.

      @@FlightBrothersFT Thanks! It’s possible I’m missing something but I looked pretty hard

      So far looks like it’s only possible to sell Tier 2/3 commodities via Missions. I was finally able to offload some avionics to a client in KPBI. Only 410 units, but maybe as you increase reputation with them they’ll accept more.

      How is the profit return on it? A follow up I have then would be, is it ideal to manufacture goods solely for missions, or to missions for items you make pop up? I don’t really look at the missions

      @@FlightBrothersFT They sold for $330 per unit. Made $130k on the sale. Ill make profit on it after my second sale, but it's not immediately available to sell again. Re-tooling the factory is $200k alone is so manufacturing goods in response to missions probably isn't worth it. Especially since re-tooling takes 3 days. But I think having a factory that creates tier 3 commodities will pay off pretty well if you're somewhat diligent about it. I'll know more once I build Mission/client rep up more.

    Do commodities restock at airports?

    • @FlightBrothersFT
      @FlightBrothersFT  2 года назад

      Yes. We both actually have lists of our favorite airport / commodity pairs to cash in on this.

      @@FlightBrothersFT Awesome! is there a set rate they usually restock at?

    • @FlightBrothersFT
      @FlightBrothersFT  2 года назад +1

      There seems to be a standard rate, though I'm not sure what it is. Basically if you see a place has 1 million units of something, it also has a high resupply rate. If it only has 1000 units, it's resupply will be far slower.

    • @FlightBrothersFT
      @FlightBrothersFT  2 года назад

      No, but the larger airports seem to restock at a higher rate. Many commodities out of OPF (we move a lot of perfume to TPA from there) have surpassed the original level that it started at
