I love the foreshadowing, references, and repeated quotes throughout the series. I especially loved the knife trick she did that we saw earlier with Ser Brienne to defeat the night king. Absolutely a genius plot-twist there! We always thought Jon would defeat the night king and Dany would be queen. But NOPE!

Out of all of these I've seen, this is the best adaptation of Main on End for another fictional universe. You really captured the essence of the original. Keep up the good work!

I thought there were several main characters: Tyrion, Daenerys, Jon, Cersei, Jaime, Arya, Bran, Sansa- those are the 8 I’d associate with the role of main protagonist (Sansa’s place can be debated). Crazy considering how bad season 8 was recieved by the cast and fans alike that people still try and defend the whole evil Dany, awfulness. I mean to each their own I guess. Dany was the show. Dissing Dany is dissing the show IMO. She was who drew most people in and represented a beacon of hope in that dark world. Making her turn evil was narratively and financially a terrible decision as AT&T’s stock plummeted and the writers lost their jobs.
N D I think the decision to have Daenerys show her true colours was GRRM’s.

Funk O'Matic Can I ask, why do you think Daenerys got a bad ending? Is it that she died or that she burned down KL, or both, or something else. Because I agree that they ruined her story, but it does get annoying when Daenerys fans insist that she would never do anything like burning down a city, when she literally threatens to do so in season 2.
Funk O'Matic I’m sorry if I was insulting, it’s just that so many fans of Daenerys seem to think she was deserving of a better ending, so I associated you with them by default.
As for the ending, it wasn’t a sitcom, it was worse. At least sitcoms have some semblance of conflict. This was just, ‘let’s all listen to the man on trial while he picks out a new ruler for us who’s never been trained for a lordship let alone a kingship, and who has never set foot in the south until now, and keep our mouths shut about other potential better rulers! And while we’re at it, none of us are going to ask for independence even though two of us are pretty much independent already and all we have to do is ask! Also, let’s give the man who helped bring Unsullied, Dothraki and dragons to Westeros one of the highest positions in court, so he can fix his mistakes at the potential cost of the people! None of us will protest at the idea of a sell sword gaining Highgarden despite the fact there are plenty of families in line! Now let’s skip down the rainbow bridge of sparkles!
Imogen Howard daenerys did deserve a better ending. She deserved a better ending than an abrupt character change that goes against everything that was reinforced about her character throughout s6 and 7. It was disgusting. And I didn’t even like Dany that much

But i know Dany was meant to become a mad queen, just that it was rushed way too fast 1 episode she was all good and the other she burned everyone and especially when the city surrendered. Like wtf? That's not how it goes, even if she had to burn the whole city, there should have been a reason or two, like if she was losing the war or something. Remember the mad king ordered to burn everyone only when he saw that he's been defeated by Lannister army, otherwise he wouldn't have done it too. And we all know he was way too crazy than Dany. So that was really stupid of burning everyone after they have surrendered.
At least you knew to keep Emilia Clarke until the end !

In the original, Captain America was the one who "exiled" himself to the past to live the life he always wanted to live, and Jon Snow took his place in this adaptation, being exiled to live the life he knew he would have wanted in the North. Daenerys died for the sake of the people (or so the show ended up making it out to be) just like Iron Man died to protect the universe from the threat. I think it's quite poetic.
I'm probably the only person in the world who'd have thought Daenarys be second and Tyrion be first. I've always thought he was the major player, and also cause Tyrions my favourite character
