Recently bought this based on your previous recommendation. Been on it since Saturday. Your review is right on - little smell and expanded to full size from Saturday morning to Saturday night. I am a side-sleeper and needed it to offset the firmness of my new BB Signature mattress - medium. I needed to soften up the shoulders and hips connection. This topper seems to be doing the trick for my hips, not sure about my shoulders. All-in-all I am happy with it so far.
Coooooolest topper I’ve ever seen lol Woah 5 zones for all of your body, nice! Appreciative for the pressure relief. Also the cooling in it and the lavender, dangggg. My favorite combo. Love love love lavender 💓 Praying i win the free mattress! Thanks y’all! God bless! ❤️
I like the idea of the zoned memory foam. Having said that the durability does sound like a concern though at the price point it isn't the biggest concern.
I have this topper and and find it very comfortable. It's over an extra firm mattress that I couldn't sleep on before. The only thing I found is that it's not as cool... I tend to get relatively hot on this vs. my other foam mattress which doesn't have any cooling features...
Great review...detailed and lucid! I need a help. My husband is getting getting back from hospital after his femur fracture surgery. He weighs around 240 lbs. Which mattress topper would you recommend for a therapeutic stress free sleep?
@@Mattressclarity Hi...Im sorry I couldn't wait...He is getting discharged today and I was in a hurry. So I got the Allswell 3" Graphite infused topper. I wanted the 4" Copper infused one but this was only available at Walmart.
I have severe back pain from disc problems and also sciatica. My mattress is only 4 years old but has a Pillowtop which when first bought was wonderful, now I need a topper that will give me more support (not too hard) and make my mattress a bit firmer. Can you help?
So we went with the Saarta Luxury. We both love the firmness, exact solid feeling we wanted, BUT, we both have a little pain on the pressure points. we are both over 220. We want a topper that is cool, will relieve the shoulder, hip, and knee points, but not nullify the firmness of the inner spring Saarta we bought.
This might be a good one for your situation. I would also take a look at the Tuft & Needle topper. That will soften it just a bit, but you won't lose the support of the Saatva.
Which one is better? this one or the Lucid 2” Gel Memory Foam Ventilated Mattress Topper from your other video? I'm kinda leaning towards this one but how is the cooling between the two?
I personally preferred this 5 zone topper. I think it is a better fit for all three sleeping positions and I did sleep a bit cooler. It is memory foam, however, so it is still going to trap a little heat.
@@Mattressclarity I'm about 165lb and my fiance 118lb. I sleep on my back and she sleeps on her side. We have an OLD tempurpedic 3'' mattress topper. It's now giving her a bit of hip pain. After watching your videos and researching this weekend, I decided to order Sleep on Latex 3'' pure green latex mattress toppers (soft). Based on the reviews, it seems like it would be good for side sleepers. If it doesn't go well (we'll try for 30 days), then we might get a Lucid since I don't mind the memory foam. So far, the latex is very jiggly lol.
Help!! I’ve watched your best mattress topper video and I still don’t know which I should choose. A few sound great. I have a Sterns and Foster Firm mattress - probably an 8 out of 10 on firmness. I’m 125 lbs. I mostly sleep on my side and I’m getting hip pain. I’ve never really been a fan of memory foam BUT I want to get a topper that will help soften my mattress and help support my hips. Can you please let me know what you suggest? Thank you🙏🏼
I purchased th cover designed for this topper. We have a very thick Sterns and Foster mattress. We use the S&F mattress cover but this topper would not even fit in. If it did it would just compress the topper.
I'm not sure of the exact number, but it is less for sure. I saw some breaks and cracks only a few days in, something I have never seen in our Tempur-Pedic topper.
Would you recommend this topper for a 5'6", 200#, sidesleeper with a very painful shoulder impingement? Really worried about bottoming out and hurting my already damaged shoulder.
This might not be the best match for your specific situation. I would take a look at the ViscoSoft 3" memory foam mattress topper or the Tempur-Supreme topper. They are thicker and should give you better pressure relief on that shoulder

Martin you don't say how to use it other than flip it over. Which is the top and which end goes to the bottom of the bed?
Been looking for a mattress topper, since we have an older mattress. Love this one seems to have great pressure relief.
Just ordered it I really hope so was 150$

Which way am i supposed to put it? Front or back?
Sold! This sounds like it'll work well for me. Thanks for the review. Now I just need a good mattress cover.

Oh that's interesting! I didn't have that experience, but temperature is always pretty tricky
@@Mattressclarity I guess :-)

And bought this Lucid 5 zone Gel infused topper for the couch!
Hope I have made the right choices 🙂
It is washable?
Love the 5 zone layout
Yeah, it's pretty awesome!

If you need something to make the mattress a bit firmer, I would probably consider something with latex, such as the Avocado or Birch
how is it for back pains

I'm wondering will this turn yellow in time? I had a gel memory foam topper and within 2 years its yellowish almost brownish and looks so dirty
Would you say this Lucid topper is better than the last Lucid topper you reviewed? Or how do they compare to one another?
I definitely prefer the 5-zoned topper. The zoning just makes it a better match for multiple sleeping positions.
Are you suppose to put a topper on top of the memory foam?
Thoughts on this vs. The gel 3" lucid or lavender?
Hey Brian! Are you more of a side sleeper or back sleeper? Also, do you sleep hot? That will help me recommend the best one for you.

Do you put the mattress cover on top of it? Or do you put the cover on top of the topper.
I usually put the mattress topper on top of the mattress cover.

My dad is half paralysed always on the bed. Is Lucid matress topper good for him?
Hello! I would check with his doctors, but should add some comfort for him.
What is the density? Old school tempur-pedic 5.34 lbs. Less? A lot less?
