What if you have lots of questions. Is there a search box we can add to type key words and only have specific questions related to that key word pop up?
Hello Matt - Fantastic demo! Thanks for the tip as I hadn't even noticed the "collapsible" option, yet. One question for you, if you have a moment? Can you tell me, please, how you were able to make the font size for the section display name (the Question text) so small? I have a default font for the "section display name" that is absolutely massive. Thank you! Mike
Hello @@magdalenabreitrainer2843 - Unfortunately not... In fact, I had to build another solution for FAQ as (even though I like the functionality) this just takes up too much real estate.
This is really helpful thank you. I have a couple of questions please - 1) if I would like to have FAQs for different categories e.g. IT, or onboarding, finance, HR, etc. what would your advice be on how to handle such. Ideally I would like differe Q&A per category. My other question is - can I save a draft version until I have finalized and ready to publish? Will the draft version be visible to others? I prefer not to make drafts visible. Thanks in advance
This is what I wondered - I have a question with what I think is the answer, but I need to confer with others - and I don't want that particular question going live until I've got the lowdown.
Hi Angela. It will be back open in September. If you subscribe to our newsletter at www.collaboration.coach you’ll get notified as soon as we’re open again. Thanks!
I wanted to know this too - I think it's pretty essential - we're going to have hundreds of questions potentially - people will need to be able to search for the thing they need to know, not scroll through searching visually.
I may have missed it. When we publish a page, do you know where it sits? And the access that others may have to it? I'm trying to find a way to create an FAQ just for my team.
Hey this is nice, but using this I got a trouble that now I'm not able to use search to find a faq. If I use list then I can search my faq. Do you have any solution for this problem ?
Well explained. My problem is that the titles of the sections (the questions) are as large as the page title. Is there a way to change the formatting of the questions?
Watched this a while back, liked it. Today I needed to create an FAQ page! Sweet! What I'm hoping to do is create multiple FAQ pages for different topics then display a dynamic 'Top 5 FAQ' list on a home page based on FAQ page views/likes. Now if you wanted to do a demo of that solution..... ;-)
Hi Matt. Thanks for another great video. I don't seem to have this option in my version of SharePoint. I'll reach out to my IT team to find out what is going on. This would actually be really great for our intranet page. Thanks!
thanks for sharing - we have been waiting for this feature. What' do you recommend as the best way for people to search the FAQ page to find what they are looking for?
This is a great video and I created an FAQ page this way. I have a problem. When I search content on the page, it rarely shows in the results list and even when it does, it just points to the page and not to the correct Question/Answer set. Does anyone have any ideas on how to improve the search?
This is great, but I have a question. There appears to be not way to search or sort the FAQ, for example for a certain category of questions. If the FAQ gets very long it might be hard to find the question you are looking for. The only way I can think of to remedy this is to make the FAQ into a SharePoint list. Any suggestions?
Hasnt been rolled out to our company either and we are in Australia. Maybe soon. In posts, its saying Microsoft have delayed it (standard release) until late September ???

I didn't realise Microsoft brought collapsible sections into PRD. Thanks for sharing...great ideas!
Glad it was helpful!
for me i am not able to see make this section collapsible option
i can see only column and text section
help me for this issue
Great video. I actually prefer this to using a list, which is what I originally started with for creating my FAQs.

Hello @@michaelray5434, I have the same issue. Were you able to solve this? Would greatly appreciate any tips. Thank you!

Awesome video! When do you plan on opening registration for your SharePoint Training? I need it so bad

I don't normally post comments, but this was a really helpful video, thanks!
Hey great demo!! Thank you!! Can you tell me how many pages of FAQs can I create for one template?
Excellent demo. Thank you very much. Just a question. Can I include a search box ?
I wanted to know this too - I think it's pretty essential - we're going to have hundreds of questions potentially - people will need to be able to search for the thing they need to know, not scroll through searching visually.
Great tutorial!!! I'm kinda new to edit in SharePoint. Is it possible to change the font size on the question?
Thanks Matt, that looks awesome. Some very useful tips and advice there. Might try that in our Test Site and impress my bosses!
Yes go for it!
Game changer! Thank you so much for this video!

Thank you so much for sharing this, excellent tutorial !!!
Thanks Matt - I found this really helpful!
Great! Glad to help
Excellent tutorial! Efficient, clear and practical. Your tone and pace are easy to follow.

Thanks David. I'll put it on the back log.
Hi Michael is the faq searchable
I also would like to know if this is an option?
why now on my share point there's no SECTION DISPLAY NAME? Can you guys please tell me what happen?
Hi Matt. Thanks for another great video. I don't seem to have this option in my version of SharePoint. I'll reach out to my IT team to find out what is going on. This would actually be really great for our intranet page. Thanks!
Rollout was originally going to be completed by end of July but has gone back to end of September now.
@@CollaborationCoach We also don't have the collapsible option in Sharepoint. Has it been rolled out yet?
Perfect. Thanks for sharing. This is helpful 👍
Excellent Tutorial! Well explained. Great pace.
Excellent tutorial. Thanks!
Thanks for watching 😀
thanks for sharing - we have been waiting for this feature. What' do you recommend as the best way for people to search the FAQ page to find what they are looking for?
Use the search bar at the top of the SharePoint page. It will return results from the title, metadata and the content of the FAQ page.
@@CollaborationCoach It's true, but It seems to find only the main page of Faq and not the detailed anser
Thank you. That was an excellent demo.
Is there a way to create a searchbar in the FAQ page?
Thank you so much! Great explanation and examples!

Great! Is it possible to create macro-section inside this page?
Great tutorial
On this it's possibile to divide in category?
Great video, what is the purpose of the "Got a Question" button and how could this be used for viewers to submit another question?
It's not a button just a sub title ;)

Yes agree - if you want to sort and group the questions etc then a list is the way to go.
Many thanks for that excellent video :-)
Unfortunately my Sharepoint webpart does not give me the option to Collapse like in the video. (Australia). Wonder why, any thoughts?
Same for me, only layout and background shading (netherlands)
I thought that was case. Hasn't been deployed in Aus yet. You can use them in Dev tenants

Yep - rollout completion pushed back to end of September now
@@CollaborationCoach Well it's still not rolled out here in Belgium, do you have any idea when we can expect it?
Nicely done video tutorial
Really helpful. Many thanks, Matt
Thanks for watching!
Awesome!! Thank you!
Great job, thank you :)
Thanks for watching!
This is great. But my users will be searching for their questions. A nice app MS should include would allow a filtered search on the questions.
Well appreciated .. thanks .
Can I deploy the template to another site ?
No you can't do it as far as I know
Thank you!!! This was so helpful!
Glad to help!
I would like to see your channel use chapters/timestamps by topic.
We usually stick to one topic but good to know for longer videos. Thanks for the feedback.
Can we search text on the top?
how do I make section head text smaller?
Really good
If i search this page with the didn't question come up?
Once I create the first line question, duplicate it for the second I can no longer edit the panel for the answer
thank you so much
Can you export templates to other sites or tenants?
No you can't do that as far as I can see
Can it be used on Rd Station?
I don't know what Rd Station is.
I couldn´t see the collapse section boton
This option is not present in team site 🙄
