My husband picked me up 4 avocados in varying degrees of ripeness for birthday week breakfasts. We are going out to eat also but I have a hard time spending a ton of money just to eat in a sit down restaurant. Many times the food just isn't that good. Love your beautiful little plates of food. Great score on the It Cosmetics cream! They have great products. I use leftover plastic grocery bags from (Walmart, Dollar General, etc.) to put stinky things in before I toss in the garbage.
That's a great idea using your grocery bags to put the stinky trash in first! Good way to re-use an item. The "it" cream I'd never heard of, but glad I got it. I have no idea why it was at the food pantry, but I'm gonna give it a try! It is scented so I'll try the cream on my hands to test if I have an allergic reaction!
I love your videos. You have such a calm energy about them. My 2 leftover tips are that salad dressing makes a great marinade for chicken, and if you are using a microwave to reheat rice (or pizza) put an ice cube in with it. The ice cube doesn’t melt, it steams the rice so it tastes as good as fresh. I don’t even put it in the bowl. Just next to it inside the microwave

I really love the breakfast pizza idea. I'm definitely going to look up a recipe to try for our family's Friday night pizza night. The Hail Mary chocolate candy looked interesting. And how can you go wrong in pairing coffee, chocolate and pepermint together.

Yes, I am allowed to shop and pick out what I want! I follow their rules of how many items are allowed. The number does change depending on their inventory, especially fresh food items.

I appreciate you sharing what you are doing with these items you receive. I used to volunteer at that food bank near me and I learned so much and donated often. Does the food pantry provide all of your food for the week, or do they act as a supplement since inflation has caused food prices to skyrocket, and many of us find that we do not get to eat as well, as much, or as nutritionally dense as we used to. I always like to know everyone's story as I've been pretty low in life many times myself. Also, LOVE hibiscus tea. I drink it iced most of the time. NIce to know someone else who drinks it.

Most of the refrigerated items I use come from the food pantry although I do make fill-in grocery trips as needed. Hibiscus tea is wonderful, I enjoy it. That is an item I am able to buy in bulk online because of the food pantry.
