Remind me never to go flying with you in real life 😜... In fairness this takes some skills Mark. Very entertaining and shows the excellent weather physics in the sim. Cheers!
I saw ultralights do this for real once, they took off and just sat there in the air above the runway as there was nothing they could do apart from that. what made it worse was the Cessna i was in almost ran out of fuel an had to do an emergency landing all the ultralights were ordered to pull either left or right of the runway to allow us to come in.
Years ago, my flight instructor used to do that with his Piper Cub just for fun - if the headwind was strong down the runway, he's just take off and then float backwards about 30 feet up to end up further back on the runway than he'd started. Drove the tower controllers nuts ("Planning to depart anytime soon, Gerry?"), but it usually wasn't busy enough to matter.
This was a fun watch! How realistic do you think the weather behaviour was? As a non IRL pilot I have no idea, did it feel real to you based on your experience?
Hi Mark Could you or anyone else point me in the right direction to get my menu bar back in vr it just as one drop down that say refresh but it dont work thaks
Ultralights and stormy weather shouldnt mix...but great fun!
Your commentary is super funny! I had a great time.

Yes it was certainly stormy
How did you manage to get that pilot ? I only have the guy in the white shirt. This has to be one of my favorite aircraft.
I think you need to take a breathalyzer Mark.
🤣😂
Severe storms coming
Real world pilots: No way am I flying in this
Sim pilots: Where's my ultralight?
LOL!!!!

Parts of this video are so sexist - don't watching the video and listening only with one ear. 😉 Pretty sure it's just me! 😊
