Empire Strikes Back: The Asteroid Field (Piano Solo)

After 2 years' hiatus, I'm back! This is among my favorite John Williams action cues - heck, it's probably among my favorite pieces of music of all time. But it's also very challenging, so unlike most of my other arrangements, this one wasn't done exclusively by ear - I used existing orchestral sheet music to help me get some of the trickier tonalities right. The arrangement is still my own, though, and as usual, I'm afraid I have no piano sheet music to offer. This arrangement only exists in my head (and in this recording). Enjoy - and as always, constructive criticism is always welcome!

I remember hearing this music for the first time in the theater back in 1980, and oh man...words just can't describe. I was so happy to hear it again in Solo.
