Brian Bird said they decided not to have a wedding for Elizabeth & Lucas because with that 'end game' their story would end...not sure I understand that, seems there would still be a lot of stories to continue their relationship. My personal opinion, bringing Jack (not necessarily Dan L) back would open up a huge amount of new stories. Yes, Elizabeth & Nathan have Little Jack & Allie, but if a wedding for them is 'end game' won't their story also end? What interesting stories has Mountie Nathan had up to the present? Doesn't seem there's much more for Allie & LJ will be going to school soon, but what then? Trying to make Lucas a bad person, a criminal is so far fetched. He's more than proven he's good for HV no matter what he past was. We've already had Gowen & his story of becoming a good person is done. Bring back Abigail (not necessarily Lori L) & there'd be more new stories. They're already recycling issues from previous seasons, tweaking & re-writing them to make 'new' stories & it's getting a bit boring. Just keep fingers crossed 🤞, that Season 12 will be better.

I've lost count of how many times E&L scenes have been restored to E&N scenes . If the love story was so good you're repeating scenes then why end it?
