I have been watching When Calls the Heart for years now from season 1 right up to the end of season 11. I am turning 67 years Old. It is such a heartwarming and sometimes heartbreaking TV series I love it. I hope this series never stops and keeps getting more popular with unlimited amount of Seasons ahead. 😍💗🤗

Jack was supposed to be dead killed In a landslide no doubt in front of Mounties he was training, there was a big Mountie funeral in his honour. He was mourned, grieved for by his widow. Jack’s spirit was supposed to have spoken to Abigail in series 2 of W H Calls, and told her how proud he was of E and his son….If it’s not Jack in that grave Elizabeth has been visiting and empty grave or one that contained a stranger. I think we will learn that Jack's death was not an accident. I don't know how it could impact Elizabeth and Nathan's relationship, and I won't be staying around to watch. I don't like how they are trying to change characters in the present, by changing their back stories. I didn't like that they linked Nathan to Jack's death in season 8. It wasn't necessary to the story....and I'm someone who prefers Lucas and Elizabeth together.

I agree how can a man that is buried come back. I think they keep bringing the past back way too much. I can understand that it was Elizabeth's one love but you're carrying it on too long. It's time she gets to go on with her life and be happy. This was not a good cliffhanger. I know there are a lot of ways you can go with this but don't you think that Elizabeth been through enough. Jack coming back would not be a realistic in real life after five years.

I love Jack, he will always be my favourite. I truly believe they belonged together. Unfortunately the story had to change because the actor left. If he came back earlier, I'd have been happy. Even if he came back last season when she was with Lucas I'd have been happy. However, this season she found that kind of love again with Nathan and they deserve a chance to see where it takes them. There are children involved now. I truly don't think Jack is coming back but I do think they will use his memory to affect the relationship. This only proves that they are meant to be. They couldn't test Lucas with the memory of Jack, the relationship was not strong enough. Elizabeth and Nathan undoubtedly are.
