  • The swearing-in ceremony of the newly-elected MPs continued in the UK Parliament amid fiery scenes between members of different parties. This is the first session of the British Parliament since UK's transformative election brought a Labour government to power. Dramatic scenes were witnessed on Day 1 as Keir Starmer was elected as the new Prime Minister. Starmer in his first speech as PM hailed his parliament as the most diverse by race and gender. Yesterday, former PM, Rishi Sunak offered a veiled warning and congratulated PM Starmer. Sunak, now Leader of the Opposition, acknowledged Starmer's formidable task ahead and extended well-wishes to him and his family during his address in the Commons. Watch the full broadcast for details.

How are they serving His Majesty the King of UK if they have been elected by the British citizens as MPs to serve the citizens correctly, as their duty to serve?
It is also UK tax payer citizens who pay their salaries for serving citizens of UK. If they take such oath in the name of God - are they not being dishonest to God?
What "serve the King..." if the King is not supposed to intervene in UK Parliament decisions or speak against UK's Ruling Govt.'s & MPs functioning wrongly by declining UK?
The UK Parliament has become a circus run by political clowns & rich Elites.

What i noticed was how many avoid mentioning Almighty God. It tells us a lot about those who avoid. God. He will avoid them when He calls His faithful to heaven. If anyone does not believe in God the creator it does not alter the truth Jesus Christ died on the cross and took the keys of life and death from satan.

That will be atheist and nonreligious individuals. Nothing wrong with that in a country where an ever increasing percentage (50% and rising in all parts of the country) in a free country. As a UK citizen I welcome that as it acknowledges those of us who understand science and ignore the fairy stories as contained in religious books like the Torah, Tanakh, Bible (any version) and Quran and others. That’s what being a free country is about.

A belief is just a point of view - one that fanatics think everyone else should want to listen to!
Frankly, I can't believe in any God that creates everyone and everything - which in that case, has to be Satan too, and then chooses a section of people to be the chosen ones, the rest, to be tortured by the demons he created. Makes for a lot of fear and control and people that self- righteously think themselves special!
Actually reading the whole of the bible, which a lot of times was hard to stomach, opened my eyes to the truth, that the abrahamic God could not be God, as his actions were actually evil!

Not everyone buys into your religious beliefs.

Politics in the UK is broken. 40% of voters didn't vote. Labour won a huge majority with only 33.7% of the vote. 66.3% of people got a government they never voted for. I wish the UN would look into this. The Westminster system is so undemocratic.
