Considering how few Harrisongs made it onto Beatles albums. It's remarkable that three of the 10 best Beatles songs are Here Comes the Sun, Something, and While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
If you're not aware of the story, one of the contributing factors of the breakup of the Beatles was George's growing dissatisfaction with not getting his songs on the albums. His song writing was blossoming and he was stacking up tunes. When the Beatles broke up, he was the first one out the gate with an album and it won album of the year at the Grammys. In fact it was the most successful album of any solo Beatle. It's worth checking out, ' All Things Must Pass '.

Hey Jayy, We always trip when we hear the original of something we knew from before. A good mind-blower is Aretha Franklin's "Natural Woman". Originally written by Carole King. Listening to the actual song writer, playing on a piano and singing what she wrote. Organic and deep as s*it. She wrote many, many songs for other people throughout her career.
You heard George, all George. This is his puppy, and masterpiece. You will see in the remastered movie, but the original footage is still around. George was pissed off, with John and Paul treating him like a dumb kid. He walked out and said screw all this... went to Claptons house, and in the garden wrote this.
The Bee Gees also sang this in the movie Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Band and it was great. By the way if you watch the movie, hang on to your head phones at the ending song of the movie. No, I will not spoil it.
When the Beatles first sign their contract with Brian Epstein they just made it simple and said every song will be given lennon-mccartney credit. But whoever wrote the song sang the song and George only got a song or two on the later albums. George my favorite Beatle wrote the best Beatles songs I believe

Even if it gets blocked, I'd say it's like a song on my list of songs people have to hear at least once in their lifetime, along with this one!
Thank you so much for letting me know
Can't do better than the original. Love you George. ❤️✌️☮️
Nothing beats the original !
First time seein the headphones...so cool. You are cute as hell girl...love the smile the Beatles put on your face...sign of a true fan
Any song that makes your heart smile is .... 💕
I sing this to my babies, still at 22 & 12! ❤️ You should listen to George Harrison front the Beetles-( While My guitar Gently Weeps) but theirs a really sweet version from that movie Kubo and the 2 strings! Omg 💜
It's George singing, and he wrote it.
It's interesting how simple it is -- simply celebrating the sun coming up.
It sounds like George is singing to himself while he's doing odd jobs at home! No big drama, no bursting a bloodvessel, just a great feelgood song
A great song by George with a great arrangement. Also, Paul's bass was full of finesse and added a a nice vibe to the song.
This is visual for me. When I listen to this, I see blue sky, sunny day, and a carousel. (Call me silly, if you will)
I won't call you silly but can I call you Will ?
Nothing wrong with that! Magical horses, swans and tigers all taking people on happy rides to pretty music.
George, RIP and THANK YOU! But also RINGO! I love his playing on this song! Also, very tasty use of the new synthesizer technology of the day; very nice support to what George wrote and the Beatles played. I'm not sure who, exactly, played the synth part -- probably Paul or John -- but it is great!
This is my favorite Beatles song. George is my favorite Beatle 💛
Good choice Jayy, and I'm glad you're able to get it through!!! George Harrison wrote a lot of good stuff when he was with the Beatles that people weren't aware of. Thank you for what you do and you're doing a great job keep up the good work
Hey Jayy,
We always trip when we hear the original of something we knew from before.
England rains A LOT. That is why this has such a HAPPY feel. Thanks for a lovely song on a Sunday from Hawaii Island 🏝
Spandau ballet *through the barricades* no ones reacted to this song yet one of my favs
The Beatles and you... I liked it even before watching it...
Covers are not to be compared with the original in any way,a total classic !!
A great song from the greatest album by the greatest band in history. More Beatles please 🥰 That is George Harrison on that guitar that caught your ear. He had a beautiful style and technique that was very unique! That was also George on lead vocals.
Plus, he wrote this song!
George Harrison was truly a superb musician
