That was an interesting test. It proved your park pond is just too small for that boat. Time to bring out the little boats. 😉

I haven't been in the mood to mess with my smaller boats. I go through phases, here lately I've been focusing all my time preparing props, modifying props etc. Wish I could share the prop prep process but no one wants to sit through long boring video

Great video as usual Big B, one thing I like about your videos is that I can put my phone in my back pocket and just listen, (my hearing aids sink with my phone for exceptional hearing) your continuous commentary is great and if something happens (“oh oh oh landed it”) I can always rewind to watch the action 👍 keepem coming Big B
Yeah, give it a try 👍

Thanks for trying this I actually thought it might stop the torque steer.

Definitely made it worse! All it takes is literally, one millimeter off on the sponson will throw everything off, we might revisit later down the road.

Thanks B , I always wondered what two fins would do and now we know

I ran 2 fins on my small rigger but they weren't curved and I needed the drag because I kinda have it overpowered.

2 turn fins might work if they are smaller in size and not curved - maybe like the size of a Sonicwake turn fin. I have run my little shrimp rigger with two small turn fins and it ran quite well. I'd be curious to see how your boat runs with no turn fins. Cheers!

Huge difference with and with out the turn fin, just got back from the speed run spot, almost 15 mph difference

Nice video, im building 17in v haul mono. Should i put 3066 2150kv and 60amp esc? I think too big

It might be okay? I've run 2948 size motors in a 17" cat and mono with good success.

Motor came in, found out it shipped me 3660-2600kv instead 3660-2150kv. 60amp esc might be too low for 2600kv
