@@Justwanthavefun_100 I don't agree at all. Betting before striking would be pure luck, no strategy at all.
Excellent format but I think one should be allowed to double or triple on every shot except putting. This way you wouldn't have to raise the 5$ starting bet on some random holes, as you did, to make a comeback possible. On a par 5 (in regulation), it could go up to 5$ x 3 x 3 x 3 = 135$

Absolutely a great series
No mention of the Frank Lloyd Wright designed clubhouse which is totally cool. These guys are so good this is a hard golf course. The wind is very tough. Par five with the wind we’re easier to reach than the par fours into the wind.

Question, if I understand, A $15 hole if you call it double, just became $30 or is it double the $5 for that shot? Thus making it $25, not that it matters on hole 3 but by hole 18 it could be massive.

I might have the chance to play here on our upcoming trip to Maui. Would you play here over Kapalua Bay. Wailea Blue or Emerald, or the 2 Kaanapali courses if you could only play 1 round? I played Wailea Gold on our last trip and Plantation is closed for the Sentry TOC.
