I love how Christine reacted to all those stereotype questions, and response back to it in the most wise and humble way. I also love how P’Bick make those questions sound softer to the listeners. Love this show! can’t wait for the second one!
I've been living in the states for 6 years, I totally agree with her. I love all of her answers, they are very realistic. I hope we will get to see her at your podcast again.
I am really enjoy listening Christine and P'Big talking. I got to learn not only the English, but also additional knowledge in many things around us. Looking forward to the next season ! 😄 Enjoy your summer, Christine ! 🌼
I love this series so much. First, the content is so interesting. P'Big and the team prepare and ask good questions. Second, I really love Christine's answers and her energy. It makes the conversation so natural. Last but not least, we need more Thai-friendly English videos/podcasts. This video is a good starting point for everyone who wants to learn English from a native speaker. I know that there are a lot of English-speaking videos on the internet but they are not as friendly as this one and the learners can lose their attention and patience to learn easily (Speaking from my personal journey). Please make the 2nd season!
There are many new words, phrases and sentences that we couldn't hear in the classroom... (We've never ever know what is it, and what does it mean for the whole sentences) Thanks for teaching me. That's it.
I am Thai living in California .I so much agreed w / Christine in so many answers the 10 questions , especially “ ya !! we are so easy to get excited “ - why not !! ( well !!not exactly said this ) but same meaning -right Chrissy !
as a listener on the podcast application, I switched to RUclips for left this comment. I really love Christine and this talk with native content. feeling sad that it's the last episode. hope to see you guys on ss2 : )
I like this video because I have learned a lot of words. I've been living in an European country where English is seldom used. I 'm so grateful to the creators.
To be honest, This is the first time for me to watch this episode so I’m very impressed about it, I love this episode so much bc there are the native speakers to talk too ( and I hope to see her in this podcast again 😊 ) I started to listen “ คำนี้ดี “ since 2019 and something from the standard podcast for practice my English skills until I become an exchange student it make me better at English. Thank you for give me the knowledge and fun Both of you did it very well ! I appreciate both of you ❤
Christine is so funny! I really love this series, I got a lot of interesting vocabs from these videos. The topics also were very interesting. I’m looking forward to season 2 😊
I’ve been living in San Francisco for 5 years now. It’s the most diverse city, even then I agree with all her answers! It’s because she’s been to other countries before so she’s more open-minded than average Americans from the Midwest. In Thailand, there’s racism against other Asians with darker skin tones as well.
KND Stuudio, they're understanding for new genalation and Gen X or Gen Y they're knew going to do a video for responding and demand to people. that good bro! I love it.
❤ please bring her back. I also like that she has no strong accent. Having lived in the south of the U.S. for over 2 decades, I find it's quite relaxing to listen to her. No southern twangs and no "y'all this ...y'all that". Accents can really make American English sound harder.
Hello from Canada, It is interesting that Christine lose some American accent after living in Thailand for a while. by the way I stumbling across this podcast by accident. Good discussion
Thank you Christine! It's been fun and informative. Enjoy your trip home and please return for season 2. By the way, the use of skin whitener here in Thailand is not an expression of racism. We just think we look better when our skin is lighter😂😂 . This is no different from the western culture where people bake in the sun or spray tan to turn their skin from light to tan or bleach their hair blonde. I personally don't view tanning as racism associated. I always thought those people just prefer their appearance that way. Although, it could just be my ignorance.
I love the quotation about racist. As a Thai person I don’t like when we call an Indian as แขก, หม่อง for Burmeses, เหงี่ยน for Vietnamese. Whitening cream is a good example.
Over all, this is a very interesting segment. However, I feel that the interviewer should study more about the issues like Guns in order to ask more of the in-dept follow up questions. I totally agree with her on the tipping issue. It is like the business owners push the burden to the customers and the way they ask for the tip is becoming more and more aggressive.
At first I think tipping more than 18% is a must. In reality when I work in the restaurant, many people tip a lot lower than that. Some even don’t tip….
I used to visit my daughter in America when she was in her graduate there. Even if it's not a long time but I saw America from a real perspective. America is a nice city to live in. Americans are quite polite. and not keeping feelings no matter how they felt, they would act like that without being presumptuous. The general condition is ok. But the food is not tasty and the train is very dirty, smelly and musty. There are beautiful places to visit. Anyway I love America. America will be the first country in the world that I want to live there. After Thailand.
I don't pay tips when I get very very bad service! which is a very RARE circumstance. That is because they don't deserve it, and I speak as a person who was working in the restaurant. I would rather pay BIG tips when I go to Thailand. That is because, without expecting my tips, they are really nice, kind, and service mind.
I love the video so much❤️❤️, and it’s true that everyone has their own unique on the way they speak English. It doesn’t matter of your accent as long as the people understand what you are talking about. So speak it up, and keep practicing and every door will open for you! ☺️ So I would love to introduce my channel “Storytime club” for everyone who begins to learn English. Because the children books use super easy vocabulary that we really use in daily life, so easy to understand and fun! Thank you ❤️
I do tip 15-20% when I dine in but I don't see any reasons for tipping if I just pick up food or coffee and not eating in the restaurant. The tipping culture has gone too wild.
Once, I was told in UK that "Wowww you speak American very well" !!!! Hahahaha Another time, an Air France's cabin crew tried to correct my US. accent with British accent when I asked for a glass of water. Damn !!!

I wish you can ask Christian to return for more interviews about her opinion of Thailand since she lives there many years. Thx

Instead of "No tip is rude", why not add minimum tip into menu cost ?? I dont understand
U r so nice n sound very kind. Pleaseeeee come back
Wait for season 2💕
All stereotypes are wrong.
Everyone of your questions can be anwered with ... "It depends"
Depends on where you live.
Who you ask. How you ask.
What's with tan skin (even sunscreen still make your skin tan in the US!!!)?
With all due respect having an accent in the US is not fine unless you have favorable accent, British specifically. Sad but true. 😢

The word super is overly used, I think😮
I want teacher Christin come back 😁
Come again please , Christine :)
Thailand has 2nd highest gun possessions in South East Asia after The Philippines, gun violence is prevalent in Thailand too.
