Used this product on my Huska mower last year, and so far it's holding up well. A few years ago, one of my Deere's seats completely went to crap at only 3 years old (out of warranty, of course). I always keep all my equipment stored inside, and take good care of them. Bit the bullet and bought a new Deere seat, $250.00. It's nuts, I know, but so sick and tired of patched up seats. Why in hell can't they up their game on these seats and build them to last????
Y'know, what is needed is for a bright entrepreneur to sell us some extra heavy shrink wrap material. 36" X 48". We would position it over our raggedy old seat & put the heat gun to it & it would shrink around the old seat. We would then trim off the excess and be happy. !
This is exactly what I needed to see! My Mother-in-law has a John Deere seat that has completely separated. Thanks very much for sharing!
Glad it helped
Thank you. I have an old John Deere riding mower and the seat is completely separated. I’m going to try this before ordering a new seat.
Hopefully it works!
I have not seen an update as to how well it works!
It's doing great still. I sold that mower to a friend

That's a really good idea 🤔
interesting, here in Australia all caulk/glue etc is set up like that
Wait a minute...maybe I was thinking about gasket maker tubes...🤣 I kinda do these videos off the cuff.
I think maybe spray glue all over then Flex Glue around the edge.
Use rubber glove.
