coil whine it happens whenever the card outputs a very high number of fps like over 1000 fps. Put vsync on and noise goes away.

i have gigabyte radeon hd7950 and can hear a litle tick when i play cod :O

its not the psu, i had the same just RMA the card. fixed my problem

i fixed it.
I bought a different card. HD6950. lol.
Guys, if you have the same problem. I think it's your PSU. Mine was 620watt. Not enough for this card.

i have r9 290 vaporx from sapphire and when i run valey ultra or extreme preset i can barely hear weird coil noise with open system too i dont think its psu coz its rm 750 from corsair and gpu is only 300watts idk i used one pci cable like one cable from psu and it splits to two at the end i dont think it could cause issuues as it is one rail psu i think and idk is it bad btw runing furmark i dont get any noise i think the noise is somehow dependent on fps coz when i set waley to lowest possible it gets 180 fps so no sound same in furmark 190fps but when ultra preset runs it drops to high 60ys so idk please tell me
