I've wanted to let my hair lock up for so so long. But always been afraid simply not picking up a brush one day would make me an appropriator or something. Appropriation aside, I absolutely hate having my hair touched, cut, cared for by anybody else, rarely even myself. I'm finally starting that free form journey at 24. Not even a week in and already I look like a set of faulds and can't get my fingers through it lol.

Last time I shaved my hair was 9 years ago and I have 9 locs on my head now and washing it all takes work.

so what difference does the cold water rinse make? i have straight hair, and love the wild, frizzy, standing up loopy locks, but personally I don't like the super thick ones

How do we send our loc pictures to you
hi i'm thinking about putting beads in my locs but once i put them in i don't ever wanna take them out but im afraid that if i do it it might messup loc grouth and developmentso i came hear to ask will it mess up the development and growth of my locs if i leave them in and don't take them out
Permanent beads are a bad idea. They will thin out the locs, and can also hold moisture leading to buildup or fungal growth.
