    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Access control lists, also known as ACLs or access lists, are rule-based lists that are used by switches and routers to identify traffic. They can identify traffic based on source address, destination address and port numbers.
The most common use for an access list is to deny or permit traffic, but there are other uses for Access Lists such as configuring Network Address Translation (NAT) and Quality of Service (QoS).
    Standard Access List
Standard access lists only use the source address to identify traffic.
A standard access list uses numbers between 1 - 99.
Cisco decided to expand this to also include 1300 - 1999
    Extended Access List
Extended access lists allow us to identify traffic based on the destination address, protocol and port number.
    Extended access lists use numbers 100 - 199 and expanded numbers 2000 - 2699.
    Named Access List
A name access list allows standard or extended access list to be given names rather than numbers. If you have multiple access lists on a device, named lists makes it easier to identify what each list does making them easier to manage.

Found the link in the description under the vid that links to the full course on Teachable. Bought it. Done! I’ve no doubt it will be worth it and don’t mind the financial support in doing so either. Will finish watching the RUclips CCNA Playlist since I’m almost done with 3-4 vids left to watch.

First: very good video, I must use ACLs yesterday but not for the "default" use case. I must use ACL to specify which prefixes will get an LDP Label! There I've must think a lot because of is the prefix now source or destination.😅
I still don't understand it in this usecase but when you think it don't name SRC and DST rather Input and Output of a function then it makes sense it must be source. But thanks for your video also when I understand this direct because it is like FW Rules...

Clear and concise, great delivery too.
I wanted to find out more but came up to some roadblocks:
The register your interest link is broken, brings up a 404.
The amazon link just links to amazon, not a specific product.

Understanding use of Wildcards often usually screws my brain into short circuit thinking. But it’s made a bit easier in thinking 🤔 when you say it’s totally inverse of regular subnet mark or in how it’s written in meaning. Much understandable. ACLs can be damn confusing really in my opinion and takes a lot of work to understand them, their use and where exactly they are used.
