Haiden put all the pressure on ALL the 250 riders. He was in the head of every rider, every race, and his shit-talking got the best of all of them too. He outsmarted and outrode the whole class, and there’s no one that isn’t intimidated by him.
Deegan certainly surprised a lot of guys on the track, and even bench racers like me and you, Cooksey. I have to admit that nothing seemed to faze him, but I also think he could've had a lot more 1-1 sweeps if he just kept it upright in Motocross. Hearing Deegan had the wrist injury gives much more validity to why he skipped the MXDN. While I don't disagree with those who say "We'd have won if Haiden Deegan went," I still think we sent a team with a legitimate shot at the gold medal, but it just didn't work out. I'm on the fence about whether or not we would've "won" mxon Kai De Wulf is a dog but I think getting that wrist injury taken care of was a good call. Kids going to bring it in supercross next year no matter what coast he races on.
I’m telling you, the reason Deegan doesn’t get that hurt when crashes is because he’s rode BMX since he was a child. He’s perfected aerial awareness. This kid will be a legend. I said it before his first race his rookie year. I’m glad Deegan proved all the haters wrong.

I think he did great. The only thing i'm disappointed about is him not doing moto of nations. We could have won. Tomac tried his hardest man and i'm pretty sure that was his last race, so he really wanted to win it.

250 was the premier class in 2023 because of Deegan. He had that class handled by a large margin now in 24. I hope he races outdoors on a 450 next year.
The difference between deegs in 2023 and 2024 was amazing. He was always fast but you can tell his technique has improved greatly and his "Racecraft" is next generation.... I'll give him a 9 out of ten because there is allways room for improvement. I think if he wins the 250SX he will move to 450 for outdoors. reason being he needs a challenge.....JMO Troy
Again, amigo, sorry for my part in the whole problems i caused. In hindsight, it did help expose the real bad guys. I applaud you for getting away from pulling their pants down & moving on. I'm having to back track some of my opinions concerning Deegan, he is showing the possibilities of being one of the greats. With his riding style, injuries are always a possibility compared to some of the others. Still, he so reminds me of The Hurricane,,, Bob Hanna. Sure hope he's available for the next MXdeN.

Then he started showing a little weakness, and after a couple falls, I believe his wrist wasnhirtung and rhats why he went hard on the shit talking. But he kept earning points even on his worst days. Then he picked it back up and fought to the title. Tjen I think he rested ans got his body rested for SMX and just decimated everyone!

Prices were different for A1 and A2. A1 was a Couple bucks more than A2. Treadhead seats used to be 10 bucks now there $77. Parking last year was 40 bucks. Is almost time to stay home and just watch on peacock.
If there's one thing I hate about today's crop of kids, it's how they discard their bikes at the finish line like they're pieces of garbage. If I were their team/factory and one of my riders just flinged the bike, we worked so hard on onto the ground like that, I'd definitely have a word with them afterward.

I would say 7/10. If it weren't for the wrist injury before sx, he likely would've won the title. He really came back with a vengeance for the outdoors. I think he will be pretty dominant for 2025 as long as he stays healthy.

Just paid $500 for tickets for me and my dad for Dallas SX. Previous years was only paying like $300. Kinda ridiculous but it’s the closest one for us to go since I do live in Arkansas.
