      We’re all fucked, Nate. The only thing we really have control over these days is the amount of time we take to throw a leg over a bike. The rich are going to continue feeding each other, like a bunch of swine filling each other’s troughs, while the rest of us bicker amongst each other about which party is best. The balances are swinging, but there’s no one left to check it.

      The courts! I feel you tho, esp when 45 keeps appointing radicalized right wing maniacs to federal courts (and possibly SCOTUS). Ride bikes more now than ever considering it might be only a matter of time till ebikes take over the goddamn trails.

      Something is up with your color correction, every time you switch to a new clip, you get about 1 second of it, then it flips back to a flatter profile. Still rad though! :)

    The way you guys link up some of those lines is just crazy. I guess I don't have the vision for that cool shit. People say I ride some wack lines but it's usually just what I think will be fast and keep my momentum. That was so fun to watch, especially some of that backdoor cam stuff.

    Fantastic! That's how it's done right there. My buddy and I first rode that trail way back in 2000, on hard tails!
    Probably have ridden it a dozen times since then, so much fun, except for that step-up out of that creek bed. Lol

    • @natehills9388
      @natehills9388  7 лет назад +1

      Have you tried the step up? It's not that bad really.... Unless you fall to the right... Then it's bad.

      @eugenespreutels8305 7 лет назад +1

      Nate Hills
      Have not tried it, the drop off to the right freaks me out. I'm usually wore out by the time we get there so I just hike it. I've broke a bike and flatted out twice coming down that trail so not a great track record. Still love it.

      Cool improv line there...

    • @willbros1499
      @willbros1499 7 лет назад

      If there is one spot on GoPro that NEVER does any justice, it's "The Notch" on Porcupine rim. At least that's what I think it's called. It's just before you hopped up the far side of the creek bed....where Krunk did the crazy hop to the right to get back to the line...and I'm assuming from his comments, rode it blind.
      That is steep, and has a high penalty if you go off the right side of it...which is where everything wants to take you. You guys ride it like it's nothing, but the average rider will get to that...and wonder how you guys did that at that speed. I'm betting at least 75% of the riders who get to that spot walk their bikes down it.

    Great video as always, and insane riding. Someone else commented on why the colors seem so muted on your videos lately. It's almost an apocalyptic look to them. Did you change a setting, or maybe have something wrong with your GoPro?

    • @natehills9388
      @natehills9388  7 лет назад

      Nothing different on my end, it's just cloudy....

    • @willbros1499
      @willbros1499 7 лет назад

      Yeah, the GoPro's do great with good lighting, and horrible with mottled light. Cloudy at least shows the trail pretty well, so it's always a challenge right? Either way....killer riding!

    • @natehills9388
      @natehills9388  7 лет назад

      So, I watched my edit and I have no explanation for what looks like changes to color profile, mid clip.... The original video files play perfectly. Something went haywire with the upload.... Such a bummer. It looks like the camera is correcting for light but its definitely not the camera.... iMovie is free, so I guess I can't really complain, but this is really bumming me out...

    • @mtbr347
      @mtbr347 7 лет назад +1

      Mitch Warren htuk really depends on how much of it you want to ride, and how much snow it gets on top... If you want to ride "The WHOLE enchilada", Burro is usually open by mid June, and snows in by Halloween usually.

    • @mitchwarren1600

      I haven't broken any to be honest. I am sure people have. The same is true for every carbon of aluminum bike, regardless of brand. Sometimes things break and at the end of the day, you want to support a company that stands behind their products.

    • @matthewwarner368

      Nate Hills Amazing Video as always! How often do you service and replace the linkage bearings? I have a SB5.5 and have heard the general recommendation to replace them annually, but that can vary depending on miles and conditions. Just wondering what your routine is since you are putting heavy use on yours.
