I didn't think I would grow to love their connection, friendship and eventual feelings for one another as I wasn't even a fan of Klaus while he was on TVD but I grew to love him, her and them the most from TO. Will always be gutted they wasted time not have them at least in a proper relationship for at least one series. I like to think that some how Klaus and Ellijah reunited to Camille and Hayley respectively when they both died together. 🥲
The difference is that caroline was a teenager, she was young and tried figuring her life out. While camille was an adult, who knew what she wanted, who was independent, made her own decisions and stood up against Klaus
