This is just my opinion, but I think the climb should’ve won a Grammy.
I remember hearing this song for the first time when I was 13 years old. Now at 26 I listen to the words and it is a reminder for what I'm doing now. I'm going to school to be a teacher and my husband and I are trying to start a family. This song reminds me that there will be tough times but as long as I have faith and keep moving, then I will continue to climb.

I'm 60+ yrs old, a Baby Boomer, and this song chokes me up 😢 every time I hear it. The "keep the faith!" lyric, which is almost a throw-away line in the song, means something deep to those of us who grew up in the 1960s & 1970s. It touches my soul. The writers of the song are Boomers too. 👏 👏 👏

I was 8 almost 9 years old when this movie came out. I'm 23 now, and still watch this movie along with many others from my childhood. I miss how amazing Disney used to be, the great tv shows, and movies they came out with back then, and how things were a lot different than they are now. I've got quite a few Disney songs, including this one on my phone that I still enjoy. I miss all the great producers, directors, and what Disney used to be.

I bought my daughter a Hanna Montana guitar, one Christmas, it had her song automatic playing , she was so happy ❤. She would watch this movie over and over .she is now 21 years old , but every time I see Miley Cyrus I think of my daughter and that Christmas, plus this song is really good.
