it's pretty much the same as your pc100 but has a flash for still photos and it can record low resolution video to the memorystick. some people have suggested that the handgrip and user controls are improved vs the pc100. it's also very marginally smaller
Nice review. I got one to film skate clips and for nostalgia in general. A big issue I had with this is it's focus is really bad. I'm not sure if it's the case for all camcorders for this era but in a slightly darker room it goes in and out of focus a lot.
I don’t quite remember. I think you can record to an sd card but I think it is only compatible with really small cards like 2GB cards or something. Also the footage recorded to the cards from these older camcorder is just awful. I definitely recommend recording to a tape.
Hello Brandon. I Love your Videos :). Can you help me please? What is the best camcorder handycam with nightshot? I want to make old vintage videos like you. My budget is 150 bucks. Thanks alot
Well that depends on if you want to use hi8, digital 8, or mini dv. But one of my favorites is the Sony pc100. Great little camcorder for the price. Or check out the Sony trv17 I really liked that one too. Both of those have night shot on them as well
@@brandoncameracollection Thank you so much for the quick answer. I have an offer for a Sony dcr trv 740e for 50 buks. should i take it? Actually I don't care how are you want to record but I just want to make the videos look like yours what is the easiest way for me. THX :)
Yes as long as you know it works. And the easiest way is from a video converter. Ones that work decent are a little expensive but I’ll leave a few links to some. No I don’t think jvc put night shot in their camcorder. At least not any I have seen. Panasonic put night shot on some of theirs though. I know the Panasonic dvc30 had it
Thinking of buying this cam to go tapeless. Does it have the issue where You need to record to tape for it to pick up audio? Have had that issue in the past with other cams. Never used this one
As always, every review is neatly packaged. Great scootering too 🤙🏽
Thanks man glad you enjoy it 😊 glad people enjoy the scootering too haha I feel like it’s a little more entertaining to watch
Thxx I have it's camera buy today for €28
I'm thinking of grabbing the 4000 or 5000 tight review
Yeah they are cool little cameras
love the scooter montage
Glad you enjoy the scooter clips as test footage haha I feel like they are more interesting to watch

I have yet to check out a pc110 I’ll have to get one soon and try it out. And thank you I’m glad you enjoy the videos 😊

Yeah I think they get confused on what to focus on when the lighting is too dark
Can you use SD card to record the video or the SD card just for the photos

Awesome vid! Was wondering if this camera has a night shot?

I’m not sure I never tried a tapeless method with it
