Hey girl! This routine is phenomenal you look amazing! I’m currently a Junior in high school and I’m planning on attending Auburn and trying out for their Guard! I’m a 3rd year and also Captain this year, so I have experience, but not too much background on dance outside of Colorguard. Do you have any suggestions on any technique I should learn ahead of time to heighten my chances of making the team? TIA

We also hold a clinic before hand where we teach you all of it if you need some pointers. I would highly suggest attending! Good luck!
Yes! I use a lot of online inspiration. I like to use things I have never seen so I know others probably haven't seen it either. They are usually things like tosses or silk tricks. I also know my strengths, and that is dancing and tossing, so that is why there is so much in this one. You need to discover yours! Also, listen to parts in the music that are small but powerful. I like to do certain moves on notes or sounds like these, because they put an emphasis on it! Stuff like "whoo" or high notes or trumpets where there usually isnt.
Its not hard really!! You just need to have some basic dance back ground and make sure your solo routine is the best you can make it! We usually don't have many try out (we turn down three or four girls) so your chances would be pretty high! Great way to make friends in college and you get some amazing experiences with the games! Quick Question: Do you use bolts in your flag?
I believe that she does because 1) The way it rotates spins straight up and down and 2) It carries its momentum in a spin
