I have a doubt..isnt it a rule that national awards are only given to those who dub for themselves? From what I remember simran and jyothika couldn't get it for their films cos they didn't dub for themselves. Then how did they select Aparna? Or did she dub for herself, because I know she isn't a native speaker. Could someone pls explain. By the way she was amazing in that film, loved every part she came.
She dubbed it herself.. she had to learn the slang etc, I think she had a tutor to help her with that, if I remember correctly.. watch the BTS of the movie.
