What a shame, because I love ginger so much and you’re right, like a sharp-spicy ginger with woodsy smell would have been amazing/hoard worthy! This review helps a lot, as I don’t often go in store and will usually order online . Definitely won’t purchase this one
Yes I would say AVOID for sure… maybe the most disappointing candle in a while in terms of my expectations and the reality lol. And the strength and throw is just…. Inexcusable.. Ginger should be such an easy scent to project. 🤷 I really hate being negative but…. Yeah.
I really don’t understand why candle companies think skimping on the scents is a good way to save money. What it really does is make customers sad or mad. Yes, we like candles to look nice and burn well, but the most important thing is the throw. As a candle maker, why don’t they realize that ?? It is so frustrating as a customer to always have to worry about that when ordering candles. I am on social security and have a tight budget. I am furious when I buy a candle that has so little throw, I burn my nose trying to smell it.🤧
What bothers me in general is the way candles are performing from major companies right now…. Fragrance and burn quality. It’s part of the reason I started watching/doing reviews. And why I think it’s important for me to finish a candle before reviewing it.

I put mine under a lamp bc I heard the scent light. Under the lamp it was strong on the ginger after 1/4 of the wax is poured out. The range is poor though at 2 feet.

Yeah I gotta say it just didn’t deliver for me… 🤷 if it does come back I hope the tweaks are pretty major. You’re right though it is a great idea.

Such a shame with this candle. BBW really could've knocked this one out the park 🤦🏽♀️. Atleast it burned clean without too many performance issues.
