Based on the positives you gave this candle, I picked it up on sale. Defeating the purpose, I often scrape an unburned scented candle and put it it my Scentsy wax warmer to give me a pure unadulterated fragrance. I did this last night with Ginger & Hinoki and I quite enjoyed it this way. Although mild, the scent is wonderful and projected about 10 feet and made for a relaxing gentle evening fragrance. I’m gonna keep it. It’s original and pleasing enough. I hope they reformulate this one to be stronger and bring it back. Thanks again for the frank review!✌
Great review! BBW had a Lavender & Hinoki candle out about 2 Falls ago & I really enjoyed it so I was really looking forward to this candle. I passed on it because I could barely smell it on cold at multiple locations I went to. The one that surprised me the most was Roasted Sesame...I was sure I was going to pass on that one 😂 but I really like it & plan to repurchase it.

This was one I passed on as was so light on cold sniff in store. And this was one that I really wanted out of the collection.

Yeah if you like gourmands, I would think you’d enjoy that one! It’s simple but effective.

I just bought it yesterday and the roasted sesame...I can barely smell the Ginger & Hinoki when it is burning. It does not spread.

Ugh this was a hard one. The scent is great but you can barely smell it. Have you tried white tea and ginger from bbw?? It’s an oldie but a goodie!
