But then youtube helped me on my way, and recommend "el dialbo", and shit I fell in love. Even his oldest songs man, they are fricking good. He also seems like a pretty nice guy after all. It was just that interview that got to me first, wich is sad tbh.

@Rekless bruh what you're talking about isn't particularly relevant as his acapella voice is the exact same (unless he's been touring for more than a month straight, as that does things to any set of pipes)
Shit his speaking voice is damn near his rap voice minus singing. That's what people are enjoying. He has a great voice in general with an accent that is understandable but not the same NY or Cali or Dutty South stuff that everyone is largely used to.
It has nothing to do with the backing tracks, compressors, and other presets, etc.
You can check other videos from people's phones of him rapping/singing and they have no clue what a DAW is.
