- I stayed a night at the new Holiday Inn hotel in Blackpool's Talbot Gateway. The hotel is part of the North Station tram stop, linking the trams with the railway station.

I am sure the Holiday Inn will be absolutely delighted with your video Stevie, you have given them very tastefully filmed, free advertising. You are a wonderful ambassador for Blackpool, and with almost 60k subscribers, I imagine that this video will have a huge impact on the bookings for the hotel. Please, Please, Please Stephen, do a series involving more hotels, guest houses and b+b's please as there is an abundance of them in Blackpool, it would be superb to get your take on them and even your recommendations. You've done a big favour for those of us that don't and it's nice to see the standard of the hotel, was wondering what it was like. So many brilliant bits of this video, nearly turning into a Talbot beer monster, loved the silent movie dinner and the time lapse of lights out was wonderful too. Many hotels in Blackpool now are setting a great example to others, considering price the quality here seems so far superior to Premier Inn and all their cost cutting great video hoping for more, love to see the Midland Morecambe perhaps ?

This has taken sometime to build so nice for you to experience the finished product. Plenty of competition in Blackpool so hopefully everyone will up there game (Hilton im looking your way). Great video Stephen - I stayed at the new Premier Inn on Talbot Road when it first opened and that was very good and would like to stay at this hotel also after watching your video - you did a great job - the only thing that I didn't like was the service charge on your bill in the restaurant, this is getting too common and needs to be kicked into touch, the food & drink costs enough without this additional charge in my opinion - what do you think ?

I loved the video as a one off. It was good showing a new hotel in the town.
I used to follow two other bloggers who changed their content, and all they ended up doing was just visiting hotels. Eventually I got bored and unfollowed them. I know you wouldn’t do that but if a new hotel opens it’s fine to give it a try out.
That space by the tram line I can c grass an trees wiv a seating area..m I wonder it'll look nice having greenery there....🛤

Looks like a recommend for a coffee or meal. Didn't know a safe was normal in a standard room also I wonder how many goodie bags they'll hand out. This looks very good. Probably the best in Blackpool, perhaps the Boulevarde at the Pleasure Beach is similar. Great video.

What a fantastic video stephen,the room looked great and the view was to,wish they would finish the outside,you would think they would of started it by now,the meal was very expensive for what you got but I think you pay for the name and experience, it was strange seeing you without your hat but keep up the great work

This video will help in the future to see the before pictures before the hotel gets all run down😂. Get in now whilst it is still nice. Looks great inside. Nice touch with the welcome plate. The view from your room has the two things left in Blackpool that I like. The fabulous tower and the trams . (Though I wish they were the heritage ones). How much did it cost you with all the complimentaries?

£100 a night is why I discovered Benidorm 4☆ hotel Sol Pelicanos (Yes that one) in March for a week £450 including flights breakfast & Dinner. Thats why I stopped travelling for days out around Yorks/Lancs this summer. It just became too much effort, too expensive on trains- and once I realised how far I could go for guaranteed sunshine on less money, the UK seasides lost out. I still love your videos they're so interesting but - thats the reality xx Great Video I hope Holiday Inn appreciate it.

I think you should start reviewing hotels around Blackpool occasionally like, the highest / lowest rated, most expensive / cheapest and of course if you’d recommend 😊

It could be abit pricey to regularly stay in different hotels but it wud be a good idea to help the channel with reviews and opinions of different places.

Well presented and vary spacious ground floor. Do they allow porcupines in as I have one as an assistance pet? Best video that I have ever seen on a hotel visit and stay. I shall now be popping in when next in Blackpool, and it must be amazing, more so, when the lights are on

Nice hotel but could do with some greenery in the car park. People forget it was Kwik Save before Wilko. I know cause i worked for both.

Yes please, more hotel/B&B reviews! Blackpool is (in)famous for it's flea pit B&Bs, so showing us there are some places that are safe from dysentery and plague is really useful!
