I don’t know anymore about that grandma specifically, but I do know a bit about that place they were at. After the Korean war, the country was incredibly impoverished, but also so many men had died it left a lot of women widows or completely without family. Many of them started living together in that alley and neighborhood and created their own community. Sadly though, living conditions there have not improved much. The women there grew old without much family to support them so rely and small jobs and charity of those around them. BTS partnered with a charity for that event as part of Rookie King, their first variety show ( that no one but ARMY ever really watched.) They set the ton early on that they wanted to give back and have continuously been invloved in charity, with donations, volunteering, and press, since the beginning until present day.
As a long time fan it’s why i found it so comical that when BTS later partnered with Unicef for the Love Yourself Campaign antis would try and say BTS only did it to look good in the press. When really they did as much as they could since before anyone knew them

Also even though I wasn’t into kpop at the time when I saw bts was unicef ambassadors I was so happy because of the large platform they have. You can tell they genuinely want to make the world better which is obvious in their lyrics and music too ❤️❤️. So people just always gotta find something to hate 🙄🙄I

I remember when bts wasn't known, I remember when people would never vocalise that they were into kpop. I remember when Jungkook had little doe eyes and I also remember V's box smile that he's lost over the years. They've grown so much, I'm really proud of them.💜💜👍
Btw, another btxt fact ? Jk went to the US for dance training, their performance director said that they can only afford to send him back then. A few years later in 2016 when BH got a bit more money, they sent two of their promising trainees for dance training in the US and it was taehyun and Yeonjun (tyun was a middle schooler and yj was in 11th grade). And in 2018 when BH had so much more money, they sent the debut team for their upcoming group (txt) to the US as well for dance training! I just feel so proud that BTS achieved so much and I applaud my tubatu boys for working so hard to debut under BH. It's txt's 4th anniversary today and Hobi just released "on the street" And I feel extra sappy and proud of my boys.

I love the way they take everything they’ve learned and give back tenfold. To go out and give back like Tony and those guys taught them in LA, and they went home and did the same thing is so beautiful to me. These guys are the real deal. So genuine.

at 45:01 thats not what bang pd says after the word victimization he says " bute the essence of hip hop is saying what you want to say" then rm says " yes, i do believe that" then bang pd says " you should never forget that"
im not sure who changed that translation but on the original video up until it was removed from youtube had it say what i said. which makes more sense than what was said here. ive watched 100s of reactions to these episodes so far thats been the only line that ive seen thats not the same as it was. so wanted to make sure you knew bang pds point. he wasnt being mean to rm there. he was being very encouraging.

The performance with the sailor suits and limp bizkit - they created that for MBC Gayo Daejeon I believe, and the camera work was SO BAD. I heard the story when I first got into Bangtan and I thought, how bad could it be? But I watched it and it was truly terrible. Such a shame because you can see how awesome it is and how hard everyone must have worked to put it together. So they recorded and released that video with a few different camera angles called 'good camera', and 'very good camera' etc, to shade MBC. Also a young Lee Know is one of the dancers in that video! I'll point him out if you ever react to it.
I don't know who was coming after Hobi but they were absolute clowns. That man is the second leader, the best hiphop dancer in kpop, has exceptional stage presence, sings, raps, and produces, I mean what else can you want. The boys have said they couldn't have made it without him.
Yes I love that moment of Jin taking care of Namjoon too 🥺. You can see those moments of Jin and Yoongi taking care of him sometimes and remember that he's actually right in the middle age-wise.
Ok I’m definitely going to watch the performance to see how bad it really is. I’m so intrigued. Also I don’t get why people get so aggressive with being hateful and negative towards others like with hobi, he literally is so hardworking and talented. I’ve never seen anyone dance like him before yet people still find things to hate on him. It definitely is a lesson for us to not let negativity and hate get to us because no matter how amazing you are there’s always haters even though the hate isn’t valid 😢
BTS is just EFFORT ON EFFORT haha that's what's so great about them and as suga has said recently the fact that trainees put so much effort but it is not guaranteed to lead to success makes the industry so difficult so he has such a huge empathy for all idols and just how hard bts works even now for their solo projects and gifts to army as farewells to before military service its all just beautiful. I think because I've been a fan for so long I'm just so used to watching them behind the scenes being so good at what they do but rewatching this series and seeing how you as someone who's never seen this content before react to it, really just makes me feel content like "ah that's why I fell in love with them" I dunno I'm just ranting at this point but yeah thanks for the reactions despite you not feeling well!! :))
Aww I’m so happy you enjoyed my videos on bts. It’s been so refreshing to learn about them and how they got to where they are because it truly is a story worth telling because we all know the bts that is today but to go back and see them as squishy faced teens and early 20s really puts their hard work into perspective!
and RM finally broke after 10 years in 2022 thats why they had to give a BREAK TO GROUP 🥺 again watching thus series makes my APPRECIATE HIM EVEN MORE that is why leader is so imp like if leader is not in good shape then the group can never lead forward i learn it the hard way through bts

btw, hobi recently announced he will be following jin andwill be the next one to enlist. he released a song with j cole called "on the street", in which he talks about his love for army and dancing and rapping. just like jin with "the astronaut", this was hobi's present for us before oficially enlisting!!

Every time I see the part of the mysogenistic lyrics and the kick out Jhope part I get so angry. Because those were just tactics from the haters to break BTS. They got so much hate because of jealousy and also other reasons probably. But they definitely did not deserve that. 🤬💜💜💜
also btw while bts/bighit/hybe have money they still dont have power when it comes to media. they dont need to perform on music shows anymore cause they can just have their own concerts etc but with media in korea they still are at a disadvantage and a lot of award shows and just different parts of the industry are connected to the big 3 still. which is probably a reason why hybe is trying to acquire sm right now besides trying to change the industry for the better and get global access for kpop. but for example i think it was in 2020 but bts decided to perform in the u.s for new years eve instead of a award show. that award show got mad that bts werent gonna perform so they basically blacklisted txt and g friend. things like that is proof that they still dont have power.
all the negative articles you may read about on twitter about different hybe groups/members of groups or if it seems like a member from a hybe group is being targeted its probably because they are. especially right now with all this hybe - sm mess a lot of negative articles are coming about about hybe groups/members of groups. thats on purpose.
money cant buy power when you have other people who are loyal to someone else. especially since hybe is known to be fair and not play dirty.

yeah I heard all of that....it's so shady and snarky. I feel like no matter the company it's always a power trip to make other companies, no matter how big, that they still have control of them. it's really sad because it's the artists who unjustly suffer

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. What happened to Chap.5? 0.0 Than i read the note. Aww. Well i hope u go back and watch. That's a vital chap. Aneesa the creator of this docu series is an editor. It took her 4 yrs of research to create 20 plus chapters. Many army don't want this series to end. Aneesa has to do more research to tell the rest of BTS story. She sadly does not plan to continue since her promotion. She got no time. She chose to delete the series and not finish the last 2 chapters after her promotion. I wish she would have left the series as is. It's such great info for baby army. I am glad she posted it back up. The guys practice 12-16 hrs daily. Warren G. was inspired and impressed during American Hustle Life thus, he asked RM to collab. That is huge. And Iris actually is the lady Sister Act movies are based on. The more u know! I liked this one too. All of the chapters are great. So glad u liked this. I am learning so much. I love this! They were so amazing from the get go. And their growth is so impressive. Hugs. It was my very 1st concert ever and I am 4 years an army. He slayed so good. I have watched concerts online and in cinemas too. All great experiences. =0] Adore Born Singer. It is a fab song no MV though. Many cry. It's so heartfelt. I had fun rewatching with u. Good guess it was a prank! They really love to mess with each other, lord. lol.
