hairy cooch Yea for one mile, I run a 5:49 mile, but my cross country 5k time is 23:47 (about an 7:40 pace). So yes it may not be “that hard” to go fast for a short time but trust me, it’s hard for longer than a mile. In Cross I run like 8:30 average for my first two miles and then adrenaline kicks in for the last mile and a quarter cause it seems so short to us humans to run in comparison. So that’s why running a mile seems not that hard. But running like that for somebody that has been a boxer and has control of his adrenaline decently well like logan is really impressive (even more so with no warm up)
