I’m wondering if you will be filling it up all the way ? Or if it’s gonna stay lower- is there a reason it’s not up to top yet like the plants need this ? Or simple as you just haven’t gotten to it just yet? ( I’d understand)- I’m going to try this with a 120 gallon tank very soon ! Love you 😊 I’ll keep following!
Thank you. Yea the floor shifted under the weight of the tank. This caused the tank to bow (which could cause it to literally explode if left full). So I’m working on lowering the water level to the point that the bow disappears. Think I’ve got this done, could add some water back once I remove 100 pounds of rocks. Removed about 50 pounds yesterday. With the tank full the door to the room didn’t want to close due to the shift in the floor. The door is closing better now. Looking at ways to reinforce the floor and building a new stand. But my husband says that after the glass started bowing it might be risky to use to full. So working on making platform and back drops to convert it into a paludarium (fish tank with land for creatures). It’s gonna take some time, but it should be pretty cool when I’m finished. 😊
