- STASH is a legendary train writer & artist that painted the New York subway system in the early 80s. Coming up in yards alongside the likes of SHARP & DELTA 2, STASH’s deeply rooted foundation for his art is synonymous with graffiti. Today STASH works as an artist, having produced work for Nike, A Bathing Ape, Reebok, Casio, amongst many others.

Not for nothing. You need to learn a bit more about the subway era. To just be silent when Stash started to talk about sharp or Delta? Really interesting bombers, outspoken, fascinating era that they wrote in (1982-1985) bombers when galleries went huge and they still bombed, big and ugly, beautiful and powerful. If this was a real graffiti interview you left SO much out. Zephyr. Beastie Boys / Cey. FUTURA. So so much. This guy is 100% more interesting than some street bomber from bumFuck Ohio that dominated the LES in 2023.
