I've never left a youtube comment. Honest to god a never-ending thank you for these. You're immortalizing people from the scene and they're so relatable, likeable, interesting. You two seem mad grounded and able to create a great atmosphere for these convos. It's such a breath of fresh air from other graff content. Never came across nothing like it in my 15 yrs of painting. Using the patreon funds to aid writers facing a struggle? Beyond a podcast. Solidarity. Many a writer gets up, falls down. You lot are creating true graffiti history, my heart means it.
Damn I didn't realize yall were up in my neck of the woods for a while. I just thought yall did the Aerub interview and were kicking it for just a few days. That's what's up tho. Seattle has been CRUSHED! Yall should interview KATO BTM!
Shout out to Lunch for bringing up SF bus hopper culture. Graffiti is a generational right of passage for most kids born and raised in SF, and muni was our canvas.
Great interview! At an hour in when you get talking books and interviews, you guys should interview Atoms BA, his old podcast My life in letters was so well done - your interviewing styles would really compliment each other.
Keep it coming y’all. Loving every single one. Also, you guys should check out Keet D’arms if you don’t know him. Tattoos in ATL and is tight with Dr. Dax; dude has some wiiiiild stories
The part on books was sick. Definitely would start picking up books if writers think they’re valid. This question should be asked every episode. Lunch knows what’s good💯
always love your podcasts!! also love that he's obviously near some railway, the railway noises faintly in the background made me happy. i wanna live like that.
Alright, so y’all spoke about the homeless problem that’s currently poppin’ off in Seattle. While I’ve recently seen the sad state of affairs up there, I gotta say that what’s taking place in Oakland where I live is on another level. You’ve got parts of East Oakland and West Oakland right now which have devolved into some sort of third world shanty town type of sh*t. Any day now, I’m expecting to see that there’s now gigantic television screens that’ve been set up around Oakland so we can all bet on the next episode of The Running Man. My money’ll be on Ben Richards, straight up…
No, but seriously…. Oakland is f*cked up real good. And then there’s Los Angeles! I don’t even know how to describe just how bad the homeless problem is in LA right now. I was told that there’s over 50,000 living on the damn streets down there. It’s bad!
Shit, SF is just as bad. There’s a straight up open air drug market in the TL, with cops patrolling, not doing shit. It’s a free for all rn with the racking and bipping.

Wow. Aptos tunnels story. Wonder what they look like now. In 95 they were mind blowing
A large portion of the police budget in the Seattle area goes to technology and equipment. Those boys are kitted the fuck out.
