It is easier to hold the bundle in the throwing hand, and just to throw it with the hook. This way, the hook doesnt drag the rope, and its path is more predictable. Also, if youre throwing the hook upwards rather than lobbing it forwards, ie over wall than you stand next by, or into high windows its advantageous to spin it downwards (descending in your front, ascending behind you) and throw when its behind you.
I read thinking same thing. I throw a rope with a rubber ball over my semi truck every day and go counter clock wise on my right side. But spinning like that, how would you hold the bundle of rope? I hold bundle in left hand
+Antony Cummins does that work only i plan on getting a gravity hook/grappling hook combo. and will use it to shake things from a tree. but need to be able to retreive it.
@DLworldVFX hi mate, the knott in the ladder video or the knot in this video? I am a little confused (sorry). WHat do you mean by "safe self" do you mean what is teh safest way? or saftey rope etc? I would love to help.
@DLworldVFX Thats ok. No worries. I am sure we can work it out. But i must say, i do not think there is a "ninja" safe way. It was very dangerous being a ninja and i have no info on modern climbing. The ninja would just climb. no saftey.
Cool video! Just curious, how did Ninja's wear their rope & grappling hooks. Seems a bit bulky. Did they tie to their belts or back... Something like that?
I kinda did. But I'm curious if the video game physics would work. Snake: huh... what an childish excuse me: well ex-cuse me Mr. Dav- I-I mean Snake. You cutting off my line. Snake: Alright (cuts off the codec radio) Codec: Snake? Snake! SNAAAAAKKKKKKEEEEEEEE!!!!!
A english man who claims himself as a "Ninja and samurai matters expert", pointing at and questioning certains ryus like bujinkan and genbukan as fakes, and he is also qualified to teach how to use a Grapple hook..... Yeah right
