Actually, that was our school’s first video, and I was part of it. It was a review session for the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), conducted by the Falculan Twins Review Center (FTRC) for all 4th-year students. The instructor led the review, followed by a quiz. After the quiz, the instructor chose five students with the lowest scores, and they had to sing. It was so much fun that you wouldn’t feel sleepy at all, and you really learn something valuable.
they are actually reviewing for their (professional teacher's licensure) board exam.... i have a friend who attended his class and now teaching at a private school.. she said being part of his class is a memory she will never forget.. everyone's just amazing and it was a wonderful experience..
Wale and Efra, it's not just music that's celebrated and supported in the Philippines but the rest of the performing arts and even the rest of the arts. I am even not a good enough singer, actor, and dancer, but I've had some learnings and experiences in singing in groups, acting in few musical and mostly non-musical skits/roleplays/short films, and dancing in groups back in my school days, which taught me a lot of good, great, and unforgettable or memorable things of knowledge, information, skills, and values, not just in terms of the few hard, particular, specific, specialized, and/or technical skills in the performing arts but also more on the soft, flexible, adaptable, and/or adaptive skills as a student, an adolescent back then, and as a person, individual, and human. Most of my classmates and teachers and/or principals and assistant principals in the schools I've attended before, celebrated and supported my talents, interests, hobbies, and skills in the visual arts (mostly in drawing, poster making, and competing in school poster making competitions to represent my class section), writing for few musical and mostly non-musical skits/roleplays/jingles/short films for a group in my class section, and essay writing, aside from competing in science quiz bees. I've had experiences also in the process of creating, planning, producing, or making from pre-production/pre-performance to post-production/post-performance, as well as in communication, socialization, collaboration, cooperation, and teamwork in, and in leadership, organization, and management of small groups for few musical and mostly non-musical skits/roleplays/short films for a group in my class section. All of these things I've learned and experienced while never being enrolled and admitted in or while not attending an arts school or a school with a special/specialized/career-oriented program or curriculum in the arts but just by being a Filipino student attending schools in the Philippines from elementary to high school.
You will never get bored in the Philippine educational system. While in other country. Romeo and Juliet are studied in school , Filipino students sre learning them thrue Drama and theater arts.❤
One of my most hated days during school is the first day because teacher will always ask students to introduce ourselves and show talent😂😂 i hated standing in front of the class and sing. I can sing but i'm overly shy during my younger years so it was always a nightmare for me hahaha
Fact, from kindergarten up to Senior high school- every Monday morning and Friday afternoon students sing 4-5 hymns during flag raising and flag retreat ceremonies. 😅
I mean in the Philippines, EVERY MORNING we have to do Flag Ceremony singing our national Anthem, singing the school hymn and IF your prefecture have It’s own hymn, we’ll be singing that too (fee schools do sing their prefecture hymn, mine does which in Bulacan)
Thank you so much for exploring the OPM scene! We enjoyed this reaction just as much as you have while watching. Hopefully, you'll check out other OPM artists or even bands, too, in your future RVs. Thanks again!
During high school, there are times that you have to sing when you introduce yourself, you're late, you haven't done your assignment, you didn't pass the quiz or during group activities. 😅😂
I gained confidence back in high school when my teacher in social studies let me play bamboo flute before the start of the class and learned to act i roleplays when home economics and arts teachers would let us perform skits. They were just some cherishable moments in high school here in the Philippines.
Filipino here, and I do online school, but man, we're not safe from these kinds of events, either, lol. Just earlier, we had our Christmas party, and we had games and also karaoke time! It was funny watching the recording because of how late we all were! It was definitely quite fun, after the exams and then that. It wasn't as bad as we thought it would be, haha.
I remember during our review for board exams, we have to sing after introducing ourselves on our first day. And our instructors would make us sing karaoke during breaks and the instructor would pass the mic to random students during the song. It was so much fun. One time during a school trip in highschool, the song Beautiful girls by Sean Kingston played and suddenly our entire class sang along as if we were in a Pitch Perfect movie or something 😅
this teacher will be sure to be invited once this students achieved biggest milestone of there lifetime this teacher will have a automatic invite to that lol
I remember before when i was 4th yr high sch. Student. Me and my groupmates was supposed to present a "stop dr*gs campaign" and my contributiom is just writing the lyrics 😂
oh wait can you post the links or at least tags of the creators? i just realized there were no credits in the description page. i would like to see more of this teacher lol
All i hear are tired voices trying to do their best but its too obvious it shows. They sounded better in early episodes. Sorry to say. Singing competition but they forgot to take extra care of the kids’ voice. Same also with tnt.
Fun fact. Every first day of school, some teachers require students to introduce themselves one by one and show talent. 😂😂
Thats why i dont go to school on the first day hahah
I agree.. Either tou sing, dance or recite a poem🤣🤣🤣🤣
I attend class 1 week after 😅
Yeah, I sang a song on the first day😢 but it was fun😊
even in my 1st day on a bible study at our company. They required us to sing. hahaha

Singing in schools and classrooms are normal here in PH. ❤

I can't help but stare at efra's head. I thought it's edited like those korean reality shows where they make head big sometimes.😭

Waleska I feel you. I think I'm the only Certified Public Accountant who doesn't know (memorized) the multiplication table 😂😂😂
Medical student of the Philippines! hahaha no wonder!
Coincidentally, we did sing the multiplication table in grade school. But I'm not sure if all Philippine schools do this, depends on the teacher.
this teacher will be sure to be invited once this students achieved biggest milestone of there lifetime this teacher will have a automatic invite to that lol
when o applied as a costumer relation assistant the last interview er asked me to sing a song 😂 so i have to sing my fave song 😂
and guess what the only thing who cant sing in that room are those lights😂😂
Mabuhay guys mahal ko kayu
If everybody in the whole world loves singing/music, there would be no wars. The only competition would be singing contests aside from sports.
How i wish i had a teacher like that.. i miss Being a student
