Be cautious speculating what someone "would've" said, particularly post mortem, because that's all it is, speculation. We can't know with certainty. I mean, you're very likely correct, but in my view it's simply safer to rely on what people have actually stated and not what we assume they would say.

Again, I don't know. Possibly? No way to tell. We're faced with FZ at 53 years old vs. 84 and 31 years of geopolitical developments and intrigue, and we're attempting to extrapolate based on what we know of his positions from then. It's certainly interesting to imagine, but beyond that there's no real value because we simply can't know. I'll make one assumption here with some confidence...he might feel like many Americans, wondering...are these two really the best our society has to offer...I mean what a choice. What depth has the state of American politics sunk to?
FWIW...you could take any gaggle of politicians and sycophants acting foolish at one of these events and apply "Call any Vegetable" and it would likely be funny. :) But if we're talking politicians "Brown Shoes Don't Make It" is my go to.
