We definitely need to remember that with this update it won't only bring a new map, it'll be he first time Apoc 2 has ever gone into their Beta stage. Bringing a whole lot of new features such as a proper server browser, new weapons, utilities and other items, new random events, improvements and changes to every piece of UI, and FINALLY some kind of Legend tab, where we can view every piece of cosmetic, utility, weapons, and other items you've discovered in your playtime. With that will also come a feature where we can view how many kills we've ever made, infected kills, days survived, etc. And will allow us to view other people's stats. This will be an absolutely MASSIVE update which will change AR2 so much.
All of this will be divided into sub-updates and not just one update, the new map is there main priority as of right now but once they fully figure out the server browser, stat dialogue, etc, it will be put into different updates after the new map release (this is including base building and storyline lore).
They should add server list i liked the older one better so you can either join og map or 2nd map so that you don't have to adapt too much for the new map and when you join the newer map your loot on one of the each servers will transfer to that server. Hopefully you see this and tell gus, cuz i do not have discord. Please i like the older map better
@@Unstopp0 harder to adapt, and. older one has volc the mainstream of events, who knows what will happen in the 2nd one, its bigger. Judging from the center monument, that looks like naval. Makes traversing the map by foot harder

The question is, will the alpha map still be available? I would like to see the alpha map exist without the events for players who dont like events that much, like the current map, or both. (i dont like the drying much besides the tankgewehr and ease of soviet weapons)
I don’t think this plan was ever realistic, considering they couldn’t even get public testing out before Halloween. How long was that “anticheat delay” really?
This is why the developer team for the game decides not to make any plans because of past experiences of doing so and not being able to make the cut because they stumble upon game breaking bugs that force them to delay the update further. Another reason is “filler content updates” like the drying, the halloween event, and the Christmas event to give the main game content while they work on the new map. The reason for this is to give players content without having to wait 2 years with no update and the game dying, hence why the new map keeps getting delayed.
This years Drying event will pretty much conclude the last of the seasonal events on the current map we have now, once the new map releases though the seasonal events will continue.

The optimization process is what is taking this entire “new map” project so long to release, so yes, it will be optimized the fullest extent for low end players.
@@loadingscreentipguyThere are atleast 2 exploiters per server. They’ve already bypassed the anticheat. I’m not sure how often you play AR2, but if you played often then you would’ve encountered atleast one exploiter per server. Most i’ve seen was four cheaters in one server. Fortunately, the mods and admins act very fast if you report the cheater.
@@jadesagmonberdon dpi can't fix roblox' anticheat, they can't make game paid access again and making an account age requirment won't really help. There is nothing they can do besides a report system, atleast against "legit" hacks such as silent aim

@@rnz8985 Basebuilding is being worked on, which has been said many times. It's not something that's very easy to implement

Dpi has already said that they will reset everyone’s inventories so I don’t think this will work especially if the new map will be more balanced.

i don’t think they should. this is what they did with apoc1 and the game died because of it, too many server lists and lots of empty servers

From what ive seen, the new map is gonna be HUGE so I do hope they increase the player count to 40 or above so that the map wont be empty of combat
The new map is as big as the current map but with more land taking up more water areas to make it look like its larger.

There’s not a lot of cheaters since the anti cheat was made by Roblox. The first cheater I saw was yesterday. And it had been a year since I saw one.
