With most planes in general in the usual gear configuration, The rear gears carry most of the aircraft's weight. Also because they have to withstand touchdown forces.

I don't get why CYTZ had noise restrictions it's literally one of the quietest airports in the world, a lot quieter than London city.
Is it a company policy for Porter pilots to taxi on one engine whether going to the gate or to the runway ?
Any airline that is really concerned about saving fuel applies this.
