I’ve been enjoying these home vlogs especially during the rainy days with my heater on in my bedroom…😴 SUPER cozy.
I love hearing people’s book buying process! I’m a big library gal. I only keep my 4 and 5 star thrifted reads that I think I’ll reread, then at the end of the year I purchase my top 10 favorites new or if I can find them, used
I love this strategy!!
This is what I do too. Don't always buy them like I want to but only keep the top books rest I pass on
A bread tip I learned in my sourdough hobby is that if it's chilly in the house, you can put your dough in the oven with the light on and the oven door propped open it'll have enough heat to proof and rise while not being so hot it dries out the top. Happy bread making!
Quick tip for the oven running hot, I would recommend getting a oven thermostat that you can leave in the oven to actually check what the temp is. Really good to have if you plan on baking more.

I so badly want to start utilizing the library because the cost of books but I've looked for about 20 on my TBR and they're all checked out with hundreds of 'holds'.
Yeah, I will say when we lived in the city I did not utilize the library at all because the average wait time was like 30 weeks. But now that we have a small town library, it's really accessible for me to get books which I'm really grateful for.

Loved this vlog and learning your book-buying process :) I just read What the River Knows and it was soo good. For show recommendations, I highly suggest Miss Scarlet and The Duke! That is my absolute favorite! For fantasy, I recommend Shadow & Bone and His Dark Materials. Also, The Umbrella Academy if you haven't already watched. Another show I liked that is not super popular is Agents of Shield!!

I wish I thought ahead better on book buying! I am through and through a kindle girl but I recently bought two kindle books for $15 each and not that reading is a waste, but for $15 I should have just bought the physical copy.

I mean some people leave their Christmas trees up all year long and just dress it seasonal if that makes sense :) Also, you have really good tips when it comes to saving money on books!!
I've seen other people do that, and I honestly really love that idea for them! We usually leave ours up until about mid January, but it just wasn't a very practical spot this year. My only concern is I feel like leaving it up all year round would make it lose some of the magic maybe for me?

Awesome video! I love to color I have a Harry Potter coloring book. I just got 5 new books I'm excited to read and yes Peter will always be Tyrion lol. I hope all is well. The last of us is really good show on HBO max and Taboo with Tom Hardy.

I don't! It isn't as good in Canada I find. I used to do it and would just download a bunch of books I would never read so I don't think it's worth it for me personally but it is a great idea and so many others love it!

I'm not sure that I would do that! I typically think of it as a replacement for spray paint, so I would only rub and buff surfaces that you would feel comfortable spray painting!

It’s so funny what you said about fantasy, I’m the opposite. I don’t usually like the heavy romance in fantasy and prefer the politics/world building. I’m reading Fourth Wing right now and I’m not interested in the romance at all. Give me the dragons LOL
As a beginner adult fantasy reader the world building/politics can get SO confusing for me so I need an element of fantasy in there. Shockingly I DNF'ed Fourth Wing even though there's romance in it hahaha - if you want to read about all the dragons GOT is the way to go!
@@CarterSullivan I think I like the more Dystopian fantasy, which is easier to digest. I started /Fourth Wing in October, debating DNF’ing it, then decided to finish it. The dragons are so snarky, that it makes it kinda enjoyable. But I’m not super invested to keep going after this. Same with Powerless tbh. I didn’t love that one the way everyone else does.
@@bab1292 I feel the same about powerless it sat at like a 3.5 star for me! It was a fun quick read, but wasn't worth the hype like ACOTAR and Fourth Wing and all these damn overhyped fantasy books😂

Hi!!!! If you keep up with my videos, you would know that I support local bookstores and mainly buy used books about 95% of the time! I share this a ton in my videos and rarely go to bookstore chains anymore. If I'm looking for a new release book, I pretty much always try and get it from a local bookstore. I will really only shop at new book stores like Indigo if I have a gift card that was given to me!
