Selwyn Gomes if you've ever used a production studio, you put ur laptop on the mixer and plug it into the sound board. Tbf u can do all this on fl studio but sometimes it's nice to produce in a studio

They were rich as fuck at the time and plugins are usually downloaded, even when you buy them.
It's easier to install the real version, instead of a cracked version, if you have the money.
In most cases it's easier to install pirated software. Besides that, i saw Martin Garrix here on Future Music and you can see that his plugins where cracked. He should be 'rich as fuck' too
Scuz24 Martin Garrix Sylenth crack is pretty well known by now. That's the only case of this I've seen among famous EDM producers.
He is pretty young though and had just became rich, when that vide was made...

I like how Steve explained why they like to use the big mix consoles even though most of what they do happens 'inside the box'. Makes perfect sense to want to use the SSL compressors and EQ's, they are legendary for a reason... They sound amazing!!
I actually like Axwell's idea of the kick drum forming a bass, it's quite clever :D idk what the actually name is the sound but, I call it dew lol, I love the way it just goes up :D

I went through the same mastering obsession but i still do it from time to time, i then take it off and am not happy so i make the whole track sound like the original master version- but i think it was a good phase to experience it makes you crave perfection
