Play boosters seem a lot weaker hit wise than OTJ. Without the big score/special guest etc it seems like you don't see those god packs.
Agreed - really missing BIG already
Play boosters feel quite boring now. Draft boosters always felt boring, but set boosters existed. Dropping set boosters and moving draft boosters up to set booster pricing, and gating special cards in collector boosters, will be remembered as one of the more successful major price hikes in retail.
Lucky for LoTR set boosters are holding in value. I need a few more list and art work cards. @eegles
If I paid premium price for these play boosters everyone online is opening, I would feel like I got my balls stomped 99% of the times. A overhyped ball stomp wallet grab set. WotC shame in a box right there. A big thanks for millions here's a piece of garbage out of the garage we have set out for you!

It may be an unpopular opionion but, these play boosters look pretty great, but I just wonder how much better they would've been as set boosters. OTJ was amazing, but MKM was rough

I miss some specialguests cards in the playbooster. I watched some pack openings and it seems that the playbooster are underwhelming
Looks like they brought back nonfoil commander cards in set (now play) boxes. I wonder how that messes with draft
As it's a modern set instead of a standard set, the power levels should be closer in theory right?
