Great to see some Sorcery being opened. That unique foil you opened in the first pack is very rare. Players that buy a box can use those valuable foils to trade for non foil cards.

Foils are playable you should sleeve them to play. Atlas is used as land and is played sideways during the whole game, the goal is to attack the land sites of your opponents for damage to your Avatar which is called the Sorcer. in Sorcery it generates threshold which is element cost on the card and generates mana. The goal is to get your minons across the board and attack your opponents playfield. Your life is D20 and you get one last chance to attack if you have 0 health called sudden death. Commons are called Ordinary, Extoridinary is Uncommons, Elite are Rares and Unique are Mythics.

Nice Sorcery!!!! You need to also be aware of the Curio cards. Incredibly hard to pull and notice, need to look them up. They are the big money. Also, each box has a code on the bottom to that you can redeem on the main Sorcery site for points, get enough points you can get unique cards with art and more.

There are things you can guarantee to be in every box of Arthurian Legends - Sir Bedivere, Guards!, Worpletinger, The Wild Hunt, Vengeful Heir, Sir Balin, Sir Morien. At least you can get 18 other elite/uniques. - Edit - I forgot Unseelie Court, Valor and Monstrous Lion.

That 99 bucks foil was neat. Sadly not enough hype 😂

No mystery with the back of the foils, just a nice element of the game to see the full art without the text box. So cool to see all these new cards…Rodney Matthew’s is a favourite of mine from back in the 80’s, so rapt to see some of his in the set! Curios are really hard to pull and are worth a few K…. Ordinary cards are the commons, Exceptional’s are Uncommons, Elites are the rare’s and the Uniques are the equivalent to Mythic’s. They have increased the Uniques (12) in a box due to the number of Knights in this set. In the Alpha and Beta sets there were 7 Uniques. The Unique foils are usually the hardest to hit and are worth more.

They did starter decks in Alpha and Beta. The game is super fun but does require a little time investment to learn it. Beta precons are available for roughly 45 to 60 bucks for all 4 decks. Alpha was around 450 bucks last I checked. I hope you guys give the game a chance... it has amazing gameplay, art, and collectibility.

My favorite pack openers opening my favorite TCG! You can most definitely play foils, nobody plays unsleeved lol. Also be on the lookout for Curios in the ordinary slots, they are Sorcery's version of "Serialized" (even though its not serialized) as they are ultra rare and extremely valuble.

You need to get some beta boxes and do an opening. 36 packs 403 cards in the original set. The Alpha kickstarter had 4 cards with Frank Frazzetta original art. The foil version of those cards sell high. Those 4 cards have new art in the beta set so they are extremely rare from the alpha set. Love your pack openings and have surscribed to this one too. It has been a long time since I have enjoyed opening booster boxes. The rarity of the foils and uniques make it a blast.

Great opening. Sorcery is a blast to open. 6 foils in each box of the new set. The art of course is stunning in this game. Creator of course is a huge Magic fan. FOILS DON"T CURL and they are worth something...once again. Play the foils with sleeves. Set collecting is back with Sorcery.

I'll try to answer a few questions I heard asked, The four colors are called elemental threshold, and it's a minimum affinity you need to cast a spell, is not spent, and typically is generated by your sites. I know people that play foils but you need to play sleeved, otherwise you'd know what you're drawing into. Rarities are unique, elite, exceptional, ordinary, and indicate how many of that card you can play in a deck. You can play only one, two, three, or four of each, respectively. This expansion is unique/elite heavy. Watch out for curios in your packs 😁

There are extremely rare special alt art cards mixed in the ordinaries called curios. Company doesnt speak of them and extremely valuable

Foils can be played in sleeves but otherwise that is about it and they are for collecting.

Foils have the full art on the back and raised foil. Seriously try to play sorcery it is insanely fun

I would think the foils would be as simple to play as maybe a pathway, Ojer’s , spell & land flippers, etc. I think sleeves would make it a non issue??

Be sure to look for Curio cards if you do more openings. They are short printed, alternate art, or are varied cards from the normal printings. They can be very valuable.

Always fun watching you guys crack packs. You guys should learn how the game plays for sure, great time. Ordinary = common Exceptional = uncommon Elite = rare Unique = mythic Rarities also determine how many copies of a card you can have in a deck. 4, 3, 2, 1. Boxes seem to have 6 foils per box. Apparently only 6 of the unique knights are on the “Unique” sheets when uncut. Foils are mostly for collecting, and from prices you can see that.

Not a huge fan of the art myself. I think the cards like King Arthur and Excalibur should have much better art considering they are kinda the hallmark cards in an "Aurthurian" set. The art for those two cards is just so plain and basic that i feel anyone could have drawn them.
