Your subscriber base is definitely away from that... Keep going Marc. I've been watching your videos since the early days. If you could recommend one perfume out of all of them which one would it be: something totally unique, for instance what Portrait of a Lady was when it came out - at least to the western world; or something else even.
Excellent fragrance ❤ the combination of ginger and Laotian Oud is amazing. It was my dump reach pick when I want to wear something versatile but not boring that will satisfy me as a fraghead and please ppl around me at office as well. I used to have this and Neroli a la Cardamom from this line, both are bangers, quality is definitely there 💯% I'll get them again for sure❤❤
The Oud in this line (Aigle, Agar Royale) is the same he uses in his Mizensir ouds. It’s synthetic but it’s the best of the western ouds and basically the same as the M7, like you said. These lighter versions of western Oud make for incredible date night summer scents!
You've got me interested! Also on Fragrantica, people noted that this reminded them a bit of Costa Azzurra which I enjoy lots. Another fragrance that kind of has this dark aquatic but not aquatic vibe that I've picked up on was Xerjoff's 40 Knots. However, that one wasn't like "fresh"...but more woody with a hint of green. There is depth to 40 Knots, too, so I'm wondering if this Chopard would provide a similar palette. Hmmmmm. I'll definitely have to sample this and see what I get. But any time you are impressed with fragrances like this, I tend to want to try them, just like with the Serge Lutens stuff.
@@robes08 -- I used to like it quite a bit, but there was something with it that didn't mesh with me, like it wasn't as fresh as I thought over time. I think whatever wood that was in it made it more like a Fall / Winter frag than Spring / Summer and it was throwing me off, lol. I still enjoy it and appreciate it somewhat, but it was probably too woody for me.
I have the entire "Gardens of the Kings" line. Some of them have the most lovely dry downs e.g. "Nuit des Rois" or "Or de Calambac". After 8 hours they become perfect. Did you notice that the lids are covered in glass, not plastic? Bought "Miel Arabie" because of your recommendation :). The 100 ml bottle has been discontinued, btw.
Morillas' name seems to have come up a bit on your channel fairly recently. Each time it has, especially when you've spoken a bit derisively about him (such as your discussion of Jeremey Fragrance's perfume) I wonder what your thoughts of his own brand, Mizensir. With Mizensir he's not playing hired gun. He's not working on someone else's brief and is not constrained by someone else's budget. Searching the channel, I haven't seen you review one his own brand. It would be an interesting comparison.
Soft woody, with some green tea leaves mixed in. For me this release, despite being so thin, soft and inoffensive, it certainly does not lack character, but it lacks backbone. If this had some real middle-eastern oud in the base, it would work much better from it than the type of westernized "fresh wood chips" type of oud they are utilizing here.
I did not really like this one, to me it‘s like Acqua di Gio + a musty cupboard oud note. My favorite of the ouds is Nuit des Rois, a Pomegranate - Rose - Oud.
M7 Fresh was a really good one. I actually like it more than the original.
If it wasn’t for you we would never hear about these perfumes/brands.
Great video and I enjoyed it andI'm going to try it and have a blessed day
Just picked up a 10ml of it because RXL recommended it because of you
Thanks for the review! It sounded interesting enough that I bought a bottle. Looking forward to getting my own nose on this soon!
My pleasure! Hope you enjoy it, you bought it blind I assume? Hope you went discounter!!
@@robes08 it is a blind buy but I trust you and your tastes. I found it for $104 USD at a discounter.
So happy to see this one receives some ❤️. To my nose it’s like a mix of notes from ADG Profumo + Oud Minerale + Green notes……just marvelous!

I'm a big fan of Oud Minérale's DNA... Will definitely be checking this out.
It's just not as aquatic as a fyi.
@robes08 Just got my official 10ML Sample. You are spot on with your take. Very good stuff
Oh this one sounds very interesting, not a priority but if I can sample it I will. Thanks for the Unboxing Marc!!!
I've never seen these bottles. They're gorgeous! Thanks for covering stuff off the beaten path
No problem, I love discovering and sharing that with others as you never know who will see it and get interesting in a brand they never heard of.

I need to revisit 40.

Interesting fragrances
I know you like the finer things in life, these are worth it in weight and price lol
🤔 sounds interesting, I would like to get my nose on this one
It's actually really good, after the video I was really impressed with the back end as well.
I have just smell nuit des rois from this line 👍👍👍

perfect description!
Retail price is $332.00 USD. Fragrancebuy sells it for $168.00 Canadian dollars.
Huge difference
It's this one blind buy worthy Mark?
I would never tell someone to blind buy anything. If it was me again knowing what I'd know now. I'd buy it.
That's all I need. As always much appreciated ...thanks Mark

Love Nuit des Rois too. Did you try Or de Calambac?
@@ToriZealot I tried it a couple of years ago but can‘t really remember…
🙂👍
