We use agarwood "Oud" on a daily basis as incense at home in work offices and it is considered part of our culture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and we have types of them. You should try Abdul Samad Al Qurashi perfumes for Oud, you will forget what was experienced😉👌
I love Oud Malaki but I personally enjoy more Black Incense Malaki, the last of that Malaki line by Chopard and of course that also has Oud in the composition... great video Clemence!
Nice video on oud fragrances! I've always been attracted to wood fragrances and love Oud. I'm going to try Musicology Fly Me to the Oud. One that I found was also smooth and Tom Ford Oud Wood but with a better smoothness is Thameen Curved Oud.
There is a very affordable, beautiful classic rose Oud perfume from Ajmal named Hayba. Anytime I wear it I received tones of compliments. Nobody talks about it, it is an hidden gem IMO considering that you can find it for less than $30, and because it is made by the brand who's producing oud for lots of very expensive niche brands...
yeahhhhh oud! i just got acquainted with oud this year (or last year should i say?). For a few early years when i started to get into fragrance, oud was very scary for me. And then i discovered Shaghaf Oud from Swiss Arabian, its warm, sweet, delicious, comforting, and the oud is doing some great magic over the gourmand nuance. No turning for me. and yes, i also have Floris Honey Oud in my wish list. Got a small sample of it and love it honey+oud combination.
So happy you did this, Clemence, Thank You! I have been learning about different notes and you explain Oud perfectly. I am a little nervous about trying it, as I'm not sure what I will think of an "animalic" scent (I got a decant of Arabians Tonka that I expected to love and I think it smells like a horse stable LOL!) So thank you for sharing some "entry level" oud fragrances for the new noses in the house. My next hurdle is Rose. Unless it is buried in the heart where I can't separate it from the other notes, I'm out. If it is in the opening or is prominent in the dry down, I just picture a shriveled up old lady. Help! 😆
Great series!🤸♀️ I tested Sweetie Aoud on a tester strip and I only smelt sweet fruity butter, it repulsed my boyfriend, the projection was huge. I want to try it on skin though... curious about Fly Me to The Oud! Also OSMood has a dusty rose on my skin super amplified that makes me dislike it. I will try Scherzo soon :) oohh and Noctambule from the private line of Givenchy is one I have to revisit because it was a rose-oud combo that really got my atención, sadly the only format they sell is huge.
Hahahah it repulsed your boyfriend hahah not gooood! But I understand you know, the oud is very present so it's not an easy scent! Cant wait to have your thought on Scherzo ! 🤍
I smelt MFK's ouds a week ago and was very much letdown. In fact, I felt sick upon smelling them. This is from someone who established early on that oud is a fav. note of mine. I might try them again in a while. Scent Salim, btw 👍 🖤🖤🖤
Ok, last weekend I got my bottle of "Fly me to the Oud" and it's very funny 🤣 Like some other users of "Parfumo" I get some sweet fermented fruits 😏 but I like it 🤷🏻♂️ In the late Drydown I get dry wood, reminds me of Lagerfeld Classic Grey. I also get this weird fruit impression with "17 Oud Mosaic" by Banana Republic. Sounds strange...but smells nice 🤣👌🏼

I adore my Chopard Oud Malaki. Amazing fragrance and very reasonably priced. I paid about £45 for a 80ml bottle in October last year 👍👍

@@clemenceccfragrance the funny thing is that we detected zero oud, just sweet fruity and THICC butter🤔🤗 wish you the best Clémence🫂

Love Aoud. Arabian oud house is great .Lattafa Ameer oud intense is great 👍. Red Aoud Montale unisex.
Yes totally agree with you !
Oud Satin Mood is so good but how different is from Oud Silk Mood? Greetings from Chile.
Silk feels not as overpowering, a bit of green and resinous facet, more airy than Satin mood

Do you know what I’m not that surprised, knowing a bit your taste maybe you felt it was too creamy sweet ?
And yes scent Salim ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
@@clemenceccfragrance you're exactly right, I was not sure what I disliked! Thanks!

You have so often recommend „Fly me to the Oud „ … now I’ve ordered a bottle 😂
Omg im not pro blind buy 😂😂 but I really hope you’ll like it !
@@clemenceccfragrance I'll let you know 🤣😉
Is Floris Honey Oud long lasting ihave smelt it and like it v much. My worry is the performance and projection.
Floris does classy fragrances, it is never beast but last long (again you need to try it because performance is subjectiv)
❤️❤️❤️
