Always enjoy your videos James! Although I do not have your talent or experience, you have helped me a LOT! Your methods for saving money can help any artist or hobbyist like me, so THANK YOU!
hi James. so appreciate your videos every time. They are so well thought out and crafted. Just like your paintings! I do get a little concerned that you are sanding old paint in an interior environment without a respirator. Is my concern misplaced? Looking forward to giving your method a try...Also wanted to mention Gamblin's oil ground i think is great for repurposing old substrates. Thanks for posting. Much appreciated.
Thanks very much Norman! Those are good suggestions. Actually I briefly looked for that oil ground but couldn’t find it locally, and was impatient; but I’m kind of liking the consistent Portland grey colors anyway. But I will try it eventually.
What a lucky canvas, having the chance of being graced with two beautiful paintings in its lifetime! Can't wait to see what ends up on it~!
😃that’s a novel way of looking at it!
